Are you single and ready to mingle

well according to Miss Oprah Winfrey, " San Jose is top spot for women over 35 to find a man" ! You don't believe me? Well here's the article. Everyone can make fun of San Jose all they want but its a cool place. Thats how I met Neil! IN SAN JOSE!! The Article: Courtesy of the Merc Single men of the South Bay, you have an unlikely new best friend. Say hello to Oprah! Her TV show on Friday featured a new survey ranking the best U.S. cities for women over 35 to find a guy. San Jose came in No. 1, beating out those other well-known romantic hot spots Salt Lake City and Arlington, Texas. So iron your best pair of khakis, gentlemen! Because if Oprah's Midas-like effect on pretty much anything she mentions holds true, there soon will be a stampede westward that rivals 1849. Only this time, there will be waves of single women instead of bearded men carrying pickaxes. The research, by Men's Health magazine and presented on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" b...

Looking slimmer in pictures...

My name is Ro but sometimes I like to consider myself Roparazzi, my name + paparazzi. So if you see me coming, here are some quick tips on how to look slim while I'm snapping the shots: Turn partially sideways, planting one foot in front of the other. Pull your head forward to eliminate double chin. Hold arms slightly away from the body. Look constipated. This one is a joke. Just making sure you're reading. now lets get back on track. Take a deep breath as you pull your shoulders back, chest forward. Look away from the camera, then turn towards it, breaking into a smile before the camera clicks. Wear an entire outfit of just one color. Now, I'm in class and I'm so glad to have tonight over and done with. My group and I had a presentation due tonight and let's just say we got it done at 7pm and it was due at 6pm. We were late but I think we pulled it off. Honesto our classmate brought us chocolate since he just got back from Hawaii. YUM and thanks! GOSH I'm...

I'm on the train and its Monday and I am in the BEST MOOD EVER!! Why? because I had a triple shot of espresso, got lots of rest during the weekend and I'm ready to get the week started off right!!awee yeah! Before I part, here are some pictures from Carlos's Birthday dinner at Straits from lastweek. Jeni just sent me the pictures and I think they are adorable! Peace out.

Yeah! Its Friday!!! Awee yeah!

I love Fridays. Now, this week has been a packed one for sure. On Wednesday night, Neil and I took Carlos out for his birthday (accompanied by Jeni of course). We ate at my favorite place Straits. Dinner was a ton of fun and I seriously love hanging out with those 2. They crack my shit up. We made movie plans for this weekend since we haven't seen a movie together in ages. On top of that, Carlos made Camping reservations for June 29th. We are going camping and we're taking all the dogs with us. For those of you who don't know, between the two couples we have 4 dogs so its going to be awesome. I am on my way to work now on the train and it looks miserable outside. The weather is cold. The rain is wet and my hair better not frizz. I am going out to a nice dinner with friends tonight in the city and I want to keep my hair looking fabulous. doesnt look like I'm gonna be able to make it. Mother Fucke* woops I mean Mother Nature! I also have a Bridal shower to attend on Sund...

Dog Clothes can be addicting...

Image
I just spent the last hour of class shopping online for dog clothing, harnesses and boots!! I got some cute stuff... Rocco is going to love his new shoes: I also bought him a matching hoodie because it would be a sin to not have him match! and last but not least, I couldn't leave out my lil' guy Peezy. I got him things that would fit his tough guy exterior. I got him CAMI print! I got a few more things but I don't want to bore you all with the details. I'm so excited to get this stuff in the MAIL!! Online shopping is seriously so much fun! OK. Gotta go. Class is only an hour away from wrapping up! THANK GOD!

Friday the 13th

A Friday occurring on the 13th day of any month is considered to be a day of bad luck in English,German, polish and Portuguese-speaking cultures around the globe. Similar superstitions exist in some other traditions. In Greece or Spain. some people believe that... "Friday 13th is unlucky for some. The risk of hospital admission as a result of a transport accident may be increased by as much as 52 percent. Staying at home is recommended." While others believe the day to mean that if ...13 people sit down to dinner together, all will die within the year. The Turks so disliked the number 13 that it was practically expunged from their vocabulary (Brewer, 1894). Many cities do not have a 13th Street or a 13th Avenue. Many buildings don't have a 13th floor. If you have 13 letters in your name, you will have the devil's luck (Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Theodore Bundy and Albert De Salvo all have 13 letters in their names). There are 13 witches in a co...

Donde esta Rougeyar? Ahh... esta aqui amigos! I'm here and alive. It has been a record couple of weeks since my last post. Things in Laaliland have been quite entertaining and busy, thus preventing me to post anything cool. I am now back and getting into the swing of things. here's a little life update: My new job = AMAZING! How else can i put it? I am extremely happy and see myself building a promising future with Real Networks. That's not to say I don't miss Intuit but c'mon, would you rather work on Small Business financial software or work on Rhapsody Music Software? Enough said. I will divulge more details as time progresses but so far, sooooo good! I am falling in love with San Francisco day by day. I get this rush of energy every time I step off the train and smell the city life. I am trying to persuade my baby Neil to move to SF but the though of earthquakes have him shakin’. Oh, by the way!!
