After 18 weeks of waiting and wondering, The Parry Family is excited to announce that come this summer, we will be adding another baby boy to our family. It's funny because ever since I found out I was pregnant everyone had predicted this one was also going to be a boy...I always had this feeling I was going to have all boys but to hear it actually from your doctor that my 2nd baby is another boy was an emotionally overwhelming experience. Neil is beyond excited and on cloud 9. He started to give me high fives as we walked out of the doctor office and he began telling Leonidus about all the fun that he was going to have once his brother arrives. I guess the news means that I get to save a WHOLE lot of money but at the same time, Leonidus and his new baby bro are being born into different seasons meaning I'll need to buy the new bambino some CUTE summer wear!! Leonidus grew very fast... I mean, he was 90+% on many of his chart stats so he outgrew the cute Carter 0-9month outfit...

After months... I'm talking months of editing Leonidus's First year dvd I am excited to announce that it is COMPLETE!!! Woohoo. Having a Mac has its benefits and one of them is iMovie. I have spent countless hours fine tuning, cutting, adding music slices to what is now called "Leonidus: The First Year". The DVD contains footage of LJ from when he was 6 months old (that's when we got our Sony HD camera , until his 12th month. The DVD features him learning to sit up, crawl, eat solids and so much more. We watched a part of the hour long film last night and you cannot help but get teary eyed at how fast time flies and how quickly kids grow/learn. I am now moving forward and starting the 2nd DVD for Leonidus which is called "Leonidus: One but a ton of fun" film. It will start at his 1st birthday party and will wrap up right before his 2nd party. The film will also feature his baby brother or sister who is going to embrace us sometime in July 2010. Well its been an interesting week over at the Parry house. We had a sunny gorgeous weekend and we took full advantage of it despite some nasty viruses that have entered my baby boy's body. On Friday we learned that our little LJ has Hand Foot and Mouth disease. What is this nasty ass thing you ask? Well according to online sites, Hand, foot, and mouth disease is caused by a group of viruses called enteroviruses. The most common enterovirus to cause hand, foot, and mouth disease is coxsackie virus A16. The virus is spread from direct person to person contact. The bumps were not puss-filled or anything but they were large enough in numbers that they had both me and daddy worried.
