The New Doggie

Yesterday was one of those days where things happened that I never planned. Ever since our trip to Sonora for Christmas, Neil's mom has been talking about getting a little weiner dog like Rocco. Her and her son Jace loved Rocco and thought that they could use a lil guy like him around. Sooooo after searching on the net, we found his Mom the PERFECT dog. The dog I found was being sold by a breeder in Fresno who said he'd meet us halfway to give us the dog.

Well when I got there I was blown away by how freaking CUTE the dogs in his van were, especially the lil boy dog we were getting. The black/tan weiner was tiny, tinier than Rocco was when I bought him. He was also a miniature which means that he'll be the maximum weight of 10 lbs.

We had a ton of fun with him and Rocco last night. The hardest thing will be giving him away to Neil's mom. I love the dog and I know that Neil is head over heels for him too. He's a cuddler. Lastnight we had all 4 of us sleep in the bed and it was just so fun. I don't know where all these emotions are coming from but if and that's a BIG if, we give it to Neil's mom we might have to go get another one for ourselves. Rocco's lonely... he needs a buddy.

hey Kel. Thanks for the post. Yeah my hands are pretty full with the lil one right now. We were up till 4am lastnight trying to get him situated. I've been sleeping on and off all day!!! Hope you're doing good. I'll call ya soon.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!!
