weekend wrap up

We are in the last few days of January and I'm dreading February. The end of January, means paying bills and shit like that. Then comes the glorius 28-day month that has your scrambling to pay bills in a much less amount of time. Whoever decided to make February a short ass month really sux.

I will start my weekend wrap up on Thursday. Neil and I had court seats to a SJSU bball game. Yeah yeah its only a State game BUT sitting courtside is fabulous. Geno joined us for the game. He was there to watch his purdy fiance cheer. The game was so much fun, mostly because we talked a WHOLE lotta smack to the opposing team. JP made it down to the seats and he joined in too (or so he thought). Anyways, a funny thing happened during the game. SJSU was at the free throw and we were sitting right by the basket. I started calling this guy's name that’s on the opposing team. His name was Harry. I kept saying "Hey Harrrryyyy.. Harrryyyy" and the mother fucker turns around and looks at me! WTF ! I wasn't prepared for it and I totally froze. So Neil took over and talked smack to him. Thanks babe. The dude was from France too. Totally funny. He wanted to meet Neil outside for a fight but Duh... That wasn't happening because we ran home. Just kidding but you know what I mean.

My weekend was pretty boring. I actually called it the most boring weekend ever until Sunday came around. Most of my weekend was spent doing chores because our cleaning lady called in sick. I'm really mad at Martha but she's good. Anyways, Sunday was crazy because we decided to go golfing. The weather was beautiful and the greens were calling my name. I had a *special* brownie before we went and can you believe this... I played my BEST golf ever. Man ooo Man was I dominating. Neil was blown away and shocked at the same time. Unfortunately as the brownie wore off, so did my talent.

Lesson learned from that experience: Pack more.

I have a jam packed 4 day week at work. 4 days because Friday is Intuit's annual ship trip. On Friday, everyone at my work gets to go on one of the following activities that they signed up for: Golf, Massages at a Luxurious Spa, Segue Tour around the Bay, Cooking class (5 course meal), pottery etc. I obviously chose golfing. It’s in coyote creek. Anyways, after our activities we all meet up Friday night at SF's Warfield for dinner, open bar and all night music. I'm thrilled to go to this year's ship trip even though Quicken go to go to Hawaii one year. I'm not bitter.

Alright, I gotta get back to my lunch and eat it b/c I’m hungry. Still working on pizazzing this site so keep on checking back.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!! I love love love football season ...
