It's all about family: That's my weekend in a nutshell
This weekened was a first for me. Neil was having a boys' weekend golfing so his bro and stuff were all coming down to san jose to stay at our place, the 152. I offered them our place because I knew there would be a ton of things I could do while they were here. Friday night was awesome. I met up with Naazi, Naghmeh and Malcolm (+ the kids) for some sushi and major saki. Sakit to me baby!!
By the time we were done, we were drunks. We decided to take the lil party back over to Naazi's where we dabbled into some Ketel One and when that was gone... it was tanqueray. Yum. I passed out on the floor around 2 am without even knowing it. I woke up at 8 am to Cyrus and Aryana jumpin on top of me. I kept saying.. "Pleaseeee 5 more minutess...". What woke me up was hearing Aryana scream at Cyrus. He was trying to drink my left over Tanqueray and OJ. I sprung up when I heard that jazz.
I was pretty much out of it for most of the morning, having kids around isn't as easy as it looks. Naazi made us all a fantabulous breakfast and then we headed out to do some fun Saturday shit. Somehow... my entire family decided to meet up for lunch later that day in downtown at a new Indian restaurant called Tandoori. Seriously, the food there was GREAT! We all ate, listened to reggae(which was on in the restaurant) and chatted away. I HAD to start to get some of my hangover out of my system because my mom and I had a superb date just hours away....
After lunch My mom and I said goodbye to everyone and headed over to Santana Row's Burke Williams Spa for some major R&R. We got there at 4pm and didn't leave till 9:00pm. It was absolutely wonderful. I had decided to get my mom this for Valentine's day. She deserves it. I love my mom so so sooo much that I had to do something fabulous for her. I got a deep swedish massage followed by a eucalyptic mud bath while my mom got a sports deep tissue massage with the same type of bath. We went into the sauna's, the steam rooms and hot tubs too. It was HEAVEN. HEAVEN!!! After spending 5 hours at the spa we walked around santana row... well let me rephrase that... I felt like i was floating around the place. We went and picked up the movie "Elizabethstown" and went home to watch it. I must say, my weekend has been absolutely perfect. Neil and I kept in touch but he was busy with his golf crew tearing up the courses all over the bay area.
My sunday has been fairly mellow. I hit up the mall this morning and blew a stash on work clothes and I'm now back home sweet home with Rocco and Peezy right by me. I'm now waiting for Neil to come home since I haven't seen him since Thursday!! helloooo... I miss him!!!
I hope your weekend was as enjoyable as mine. I've got a crazy week ahead, including lots of work, VALENTINE'S DAY and a concert (CCR) and a show (CORTEO) all in one week. Better take it easy today. That's what Sunday's are for!
