American Idol Update

So lastnight was the 2nd night of Idol. Tuesday night was the ladies followed by Men's performances on Wednesday. Gosh I wish I had better news about the woman but 80% of them were TERRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I do have a few favorites but even then, the songs they chose were dreary!

However, the men on this year's "American Idol" tend to lack the star power of the women. They're all fairly nerdy looking... Especially Elliott and Kevin. Kevin is cute and all but I don't think his voice has the IT factor however Elliott, who looks like he came out of an amish farm looks dorky, he can sing like a mutha fucka.

Chris Daughtry was one of the few idols lastnight to sing a hip newer song.. He sand Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and everyone including Simon was floored by his performance. I mean, this guy could go platinum! Here is Chris blowin it up big time for idol fans.

I hope that next week, the Idol contestants get a clue and start singing songs that are lively not all old and boring. I want to hear some good stuff!!

There are 2 other guys worth mentioning. One is hott and has got no voice and one is not so hott but can sing like Marvin Gay!!

Now onto some of my favorite Idol girls. Below are my favorite 3 woman idols. They are all sooo good. Especially Paris, she's got this thing with her voice that's soooo calming yet upbeat. It's indescribable but its fascinating. Mandisa is also a really strong vocalist. She sings her heart out and always has a big smile on her face.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!!
