Guess who's backkk....
Hello ladies and gents,
I'm back from Edmonton and I'm ready to go! I woke up this morning at 4:30 am and its been non-stop ever since. I arrived in SF to be greeted by hail and snow on my way home. Yes. It was hailing in mountain view and then it started SNOWING in san jose!!! Can you believe it? I was shocked. I thought I brought some of the bad snowy weather back with me! Anyways, I was amazed to see Mount Hamilton along with all the other mountains surrounding San Jose full of snow... and at the lowest elevations in years, 500-1000!!!
My trip was amazing and while I"m glad to be back I think that my Intuit OLB team made tremendous progress. I also had dinner with the Intuit Canada team we are working with. We went to this bad ass steak house and our bill was over $1000. I met the CTO of the Canada office too, his name is Carmen. He just turned 40 and he's already owned 2 Tax companies and has been the CTO at Intuit's Canada and UK office for a few years. WOW! I hope to accomplish half of that in the next 14 years!!! Anyways, dinner was great. I learned so much from this trip. I am so motivated to begin our work on QuickBooks 2007 and I'm even more excited to create a solution for Online Banking for our users.

I didn't have to work today because we are having a reshuffle of cubes at work so today was our day off. I got home and was greeted by the 2 cutest dogs in the world. I played with the dogs... My dad met me for lunch and we went to check out this property in downtown san jose that I'm very interested in buying. The condo is still downtown but it's really nice. The interesting thing about this place is that it is across the street from my first ever apartment downtown, Villa Torino. You can actually see my old apartment from the condo's window. I want this place because I feel like I want to upgrade to something a bit bigger and more modern.
The Park Townsend condominiums are about a year old and they are 100% high teched out. They've got the latest gadgets and home appliances you can think of... perfect for me! The only problem is that it's very expen$ive so I Neil and I have got some thinking to do. I also have to always make sure that any place I buy has atleast 2 bedrooms. Not only for resale value BUT I have got to have a spot for my sister to crash WHENEVER she's in town... or whenever she decides to move back home.. Hee hee...
Given the real estate market in the Bay Area, buying anything here is almost worth it. You have got to buy buy buy when you're young. I'm planning on buying my first $1+million dollar house at age 30. Can I do it? If I make the right moves with real estate investing, I can do it with NO PROBLEM.
alright, I gotta go and get some rest here. I've been on the go with 13 hour days the past week and I need to unwind with my honey tonight. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. I'll hollaback later.
