Life is sweet
It's friday and I couldn't be any happier. My week has been insanely busy but I honestly have loved every minute of it.
Nima, Alaleh, Arash, Neil and I all had dinner wed. night at Rosie's. First of all I had the greatest evening. These are friends of mine that I'd die... I've known them all forever and I seriously enjoyed every minute of the time I spent with everyone. The food at Rosie's was just as good as the company. Alaleh's family has picked a great chef to represent and I'd give that place an A+ anyday!!! I grew up babysitting Nima and hanging out with him since he was 5 and Alaleh and I have grown up together since I can't remember. We always played soccer and got into TONS of trouble so Neil heard some interesting stories about me that I kinda sorta forgot to tell him about. ha haaaaaaaaaaa...
Then on Thursday morning I woke up and headed over to our last and final day at the hotel in Sunnyvale. The last day of TSP launch is SWEET! I know this is hard to believe but I actually missed being in my cubicle. I got back to the office yesterday at 4pm and low and behold Neil stopped by my work so we could grab coffee. That was fun. I needed it because my co-worker cristina and I had a long drive to SF ahead of us. I said bye to neil and Cris and I got on the road to SF shortly after 5. Problem was that no one told us there was a giants game going on so we hit pretty bad traffic. John was waiting for us for ABOUT AN HOUR!!! Luckily, he had alcohol to keep him company. Alcohol comes through when you need it! ;)
I can't tell you how great it was to see my ex-manager John and spend time with him and Cristina. We had a fabulous dinner with drinks galore. The conversations we had during lastnights' dinner will forever remain between the 3 of us but all I can tell you is that these 2 friends of mine are badass!!! We got a bit tipsy lastnight and I got home around 12... I was all funked out... Had another nightcap and hit the sack...
Luckily I didnt' have to be at work till 11:30 which consisted of me driving to meet my team at Kabul restaurant in Sunnyvale. mmmm... so good! Now I'm back at work and excited about hanging with GJ.. that's short for Geno and Jana.
Saturday... well i think I need to go to the gym after eating out like 8thousand times. I am going to cook at home all next week to make up for my naughtiness this week. Have a great weekend. Pray for goodweather and if we do have good weather, go to Vesona Park. It's be going off the hook with millions of fabulous persian peeps!! I guarantee it! =)
