this is a long week

as i said in yesterday's post this has been a long week. But I have 3 great nights ahead of me. Before I get into that I want to state how BAD Tuesday nights American Idol singers performed. Besides Paris, Mandesa and Chris, I thought everyone sang as if they were on stage at some run down bars' kareoki night. If the performances are this boring, I might have to stop watching. IT WAS THAT BAD!

Neil and I headed over to the bookstore lastnight for my 3rd visit to get books on starting a Small Business. While I can't reveal the business details, its going to be fantastic. The more I read, the more I realize that I've got a HUGE potential career ahead of me. I have always seen myself owning a business and at 27, my dream is almost a reality.

Anyways, tonight I am headed over to Rosie's to have dinner with Alaleh, Nima, Neil and Alaleh's brother Arash. It's a long overdue reunion amongst 4 very very close childhood friends. Nima is in town this week for UCLA's spring break so we're taking advantage of his presence. So that's tonight. Tomorrow night I am going to San Francisco to a restaurant called "The Crossing Bar" with my old manager John (who's expecting a baby in a week) and Cristina (my co-worker who got engaged Sunday night). We're celebrating together because we all have something cool to share. I hear the restaurant is great so I will hopefully come back with a good review and leave you with a new spot in the city!! Then comes Friday night. Aweee.. the beauty of Friday nights. Neil and I are going to go on a very special date night with our 2 favorites Geno and Jana. We're going to hit up italian this time and I think I will have eaten 3 different varieties of food 3 nights straight. I NEED TO GO TO THE GYM THIS WEEKEND!!

This weekend is also seezdeh behdar, the celebration that comes 13 days after persian new year which was on March 20th. On this day every persian person in the bay area goes to Vesona Park for an all day picnic including live music, great food and lots and lots of people. I wish Jouvan was here for this thing... my other friend Baharah is out of town so I may have to locate another persian posse to roll with.

I think I'll be absolutely 100% ready for a 'STAY-AT-HOME-ALL-DAY' type of day shortly, especially after my packed week. Don't you think?

I gotta run now and jump in the shower and start my night off right. Peezy and Rocco wanted to say hi "woooooooooof". alright peace out peeps!
