If I was in Top Chef - I'd be a winner last night

If I were to compete in Top Chef, the new reality show on Bravo, I'd be a winner. After recently purchasing Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals for dinners, I decided to try out a recipe.

Sooo after thorough examination, I chose to make pretzel breaded chicken with Cheese-Mustard Sauce. This may not sound good but wait till I tell you how I prepared it....

First, I took 2 pieces of chicken and put each in a plastic bag. Then I pounded the hell out of each of them. This part was super fun. I then got out a blender and finely chopped 2 cups of pretzels (non-salted). In a seperate bown I prepared 2 eggs, beaten. Dip each chicken into the pretzels, then into the egg, then back into the pretzel and make sure to coat it well. On high, heat 1/4 inch of oil in a saucepan and add the chicken to it once its ready (make sure its hot). Turn the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.

While that's preparing you need to heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot. Once melted add 2 tablespoons of flour. Mix. Then add 2 cups of milk. Let the milk bubble and then add 2.5 cups of sharp cheddar cheese and 2 tablespoons of Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard. Heat for another minute, mix it up, your done with the sauce.

As your chicken is about to say, EAT ME... add the following items to finish off your plate... Finely chop a bit of oniions and sour-dill pickles...

Add chicken to your plate, drizzle the cheese-mustard sauce over the chicken. Sprinkle the pickles and onion over the dish and top it off with some parsley. Wah-la! A masterpiece.

The dinner came out phenominal! Thanks Rachel. You are seriously a Ro-friendly chef.
