Weekend Update
Its Tuesday. I took Monday off of work to spend with Jo and My mom so its like a Monday today, which kind of sucks. Why? Because I'm pretty burnt out from my weekend and not to mention I have lots of work at work and then school from 6-10pm. Rarrr!!!
Here's my weekend in 5 seconds: I golfed with my boo after work on Friday. I shot a 47 on the front 9. That is the best score I have had yet. Seriously, a 47!!!! That is soooooooooooooo awesome! Finally, my game is coming around. THANK YOU GOLF GODS!!
Saturday I pretty much spent the entire day with Neil, Harlee and AJ doing a million things including goiung to a Giants Game (They won!!), watching the moovie United 93 and eating tremendous food at Yukki Sushi, my favorite hole in the wall.
Sunday was sorta great. Since I had plans with the moms early that morning, Neil made a tee time at the Ranch to play a quick 18 holes before we went to my uncles house. He came home at noon and as he was getting ready to shower, I was folding laundry. As I was doing that, I noticed a little critter running on my bed. I screamed. YES. IT was ANOTHER TICK!! Neil brought home a tick on his clothes from his morning round of golf. We killed it and I insisted that I look on Neil's head for any other ticks. WHAT DO YOU KNOW? We find one of those blood sucking devils on the back of his neck right underneath his hairline. It was nasty. I had to tweeze that little shit out and it was not pretty. We tried to compose ourselves and get ready to go to my uncles' house. Trust me though, it wasn't easy being calm after that incident... especially since just last week we had found one on Rocco!!!
Mothers day actually distracted us from all the ickiness. I couldn't have asked for anything a better afternoon/evening. We celebrated Mothers day with a lavish BBQ at my uncle's house. All the moms were on hand and Chelsea my cousin from Oklahoma was also there with her husband which was cool. We took lots of Tequila shots and smoked Pina Colada hooka stuff. It was awesome. The food was also great and I made a yummi dessert too but it was undercooked. Not my fault. I had too much tequila therefore my cooking abilities were watered down. Sorry moms!!
Later on that night, Jouvan, Neil and I came home to watch part 1 of Grey's anatomy. Neil was acting a bit wierd and we found out later that he contracted Lyme Disease from the tick. He tried to get some rest Sunday night but it was hard since his symptoms were achy.
Monday morning was fun. Jo, my mom, naazi and I had a really fun girly day. I had a bit of a hard time completly enjoying myself because I was worried sick about Neil and his situation. I contacted the doctor and he gave him antibiotics and Neil has to see him next week for bloodwork. Phew....
anyways, I am sooo toast right now, especially after watching the MOST emotional Grey's anamtomy on earth lastnight! Why they gotta make it so sad????????????
oye vey! the tears were flowing like crazy!!
