captain sick-o
I have been super under the weather lately. Ever since Thursday I've been sick. I slept most of Thursday and then most of Friday. I dont know what came over me...
It could be that work, school, my golf business and the new remodeling project in my house all caught up with me but who knows. I think I have been taking on wayyyy too much stress the past couple of weeks.
Some of you may know but for those that don't I am starting to remodel my condo. That's right. Its about time!! I have just finished my final touches on the project schedule and demolition begins in my kitchen next weekend. I am getting new kitchen cabintets and countertops along with a new pantry and some custom shelving. By the time that is done, my new kitchen appliances will arrive... all which are stainless steel. Pictures to come upon completion! Don't u worry.
Following the kitchen project, we're moving upstair to the masterbathroom and remodeling the entire thing with natural slab tile and new cabinets and countertops. I am also getting a new shower head system which is suppose to make your bathing experience a thousand times better. Maybe I won't be so stinky!!
Next, the floor people are coming in to add Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors to the downstairs and new carpet upstairs. I will also be getting new 6inch baseboards installed throughout the house and new curtains everywhere too. If that's not enough, I'm also getting my master bedroom closet redone by "ClosetsByDesign". Neil and I desperately needed to customize the shelves and cabinets in our closet and organize things better... so now we finally get too!!
I know I might sound lame but remodeling your house is kinda fun. I hope that all the changes are in line with my vision and everything turns out fabulous!
The estimated time of completion for all this is slated for Oct. 20th. That is the absolute latest time. I need my home to be holiday ready, especially for my annual pumpkin carving party!
I just got home from the SJSU-CalPoly game. We won 17-7. Aweee Yeah!! Now I'm going to my aunt and uncle's new house in Menlo Atherton. They are living on the same street as Barry Bonds and Jerry Rice. How cool is that!!! Alright, I gotta get going. Talk to ya'll later!!! Peace.
