Doggie Day Care Day 1
Today is my first day back in the office since last Wed. I had taken a few days off of work to oversee the construction at the 152 condominium that Neil and I call home.
Yesterday I had the last of my granite counters installed in my bathroom. It looks great. The undermount sinks are also sweet, I picked to have them installed that way so that they are super easy when it comes time to clean. Yipee! less cleaning = happi rouge. I also had the plumber at my house all day doing work. He did a good job. It was apparent when I flushed the toilet. The flush was really fast and had suckage. Now, when someone poops at my house they wont have to worry about a floater!
Around 4:30pm yesterday I called the vet to see if Rocco & Peezy were ready to be picked up. Rocco had dental work done and had to be put to sleep to do it. Peezy was getting xrays taken so they put him to sleep for that too....So anyways, I picked them up and Rocco's teeth looked AMAZING! Magnificent. White as a porcelain toilet! They also smelled like... smelled like air. No more Rocco breath. I actually miss it but that's just wierd me. i'm sure everyone in the world is thrilled about his fresh breath. He is, in a sense, a breath of fresh air! On a sad note, the doctor didn't have good news to report about Peezy's xrays. It looks like Peezy has a birth defect in his front legs. One is worste then the other but apparently his growth plates stopped growing prematurely while his legs continued to grow therefore causing his legs to grow outward... sorta like a bulldog. You can kindof get a sense of how they look from this picture:

After meeting with the vet, I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon so that he can take a look at the Xrays and also check out Peezy's leg for further analysis. I'll update you guys on his status as I hear more. Its just wierd. I guess like father (neil) like son. Hopefully Peezy won't have 28 surgeries like his daddy! Just keep him in your prayers or wish him luck if you find a four leaf clover or something. k? thanks =)
I actually took Rocco and Peezy to their first day of Doggie Day Care today. Since there were tons of contractors at my house today installing the floors and carpet, I decided to leave the boys in day care for some fun. I dropped them off this morning and you should have seen Peezy, he was going nuts with the other dogs, he was having a blast. There were about 15-20 other dogs including 2 other weiner dogs, an adorable boxer puppy and other cuties that my boys were going to play with. I felt so much better seeing them there then stuck outside in our balcony. Neil is going to pick them up after work tonight since I have class but I am sure they'll be ready for bed as soon as they get home.
My mom arrived from Italy yesterday and she stopped by to see me. It was soooo great hugging her. She brought me back some cute stuff. I got a belt, a gorgeous purse, an italian soccer sweater and jewlery. Thanks Mom!! I love it all. Neil got a hat and a nice italian themed chef's apron. My mom said that he can wear it when he cooks for me in our new kitchen!
I better go.. I have to wrap up at work and have to get going to school. I WAS suppose to go to a dinner with neil tonight at a football thing with the SJSU QB club but I can't due to skool. That sux for me but I think it might be a good thing because I am a mess. No, really, I have been a total scrub since my house went down. I can't wait to start looking like a lady again! =) Have a good one. LaaliOUT.
