Tahoe continued...
I left off a bit early in my Thanksgiving weekend wrap up because I was busy, I had to work Sunday on a critical bug that needed my attention. Things are okay now and I actually have today off so that I can work on my house. You see, my handyman has been taking his sweet time with my bathroom remodeling project. The last bit of my house that is left has been taking forever. He had promised me that he'd be done by the time I got back from vacation so when I got home on Saturday, I lost it when I saw that the project was still in progress. After a couple of days of cooling off and talking to the workers, they are suppose to be done tonight. My downstairs bathroom is done and I cleaned it all yesterday. The final touches are left in my main bathroom so I hope it gets done tonight.
Now, back to Tahoe... Friday was bittersweet. My baby had to leave due to ANOTHER SJSU game. Why does football season always interfere with Thanksgiving my favorite holiday? Its just not fair!!! argh!! When Neil left, I had him take Rocco & Peezy to day care. Since my sister and I had to hitch a ride back with someone, I didn't want to impose with 3 dogs. On Friday, since there was no snow, my fam and I decided to head to Tahoe City for some walking around the town. Tahoe City is really pretty and has great shops and its also right by the lake. After some walking around, I headed back to the cabin where a few of us had a hilarious battle of monopoly. As always, since the game takes forever, we left it half-complete. I don't think I've ever finished an entire game!
On Friday night, the girls decided we needed a night out on the town. We all got ready and Naazi, Naghmeh, Jo and I along with my uncle and cousin elliott headed to the casino's. let's just say a few drinks later and the altitude getting to our heads, we were the loudest people at the craps table. Although we were a bit drunko, we all won quite a bit of moola, which is always good. We got back home and raided the fridge with the munchies. It was so bad that jo even barfed the next day. I thought eating Thankgiving dinner was bad but the day after was even worse!!
All in all it was another great Thanksgiving. Now, I'm looking forward to Christmas, the SJSU bowl game and new years eve baby!!! I think Jana, Geno are interested in going to the bowl game so we might make a fun trip out of it. This weekend, SJSU plays Fresno at home. Neil's mom is coming to town and they are staying with us and will be watching the game from the press box with yours truly. Alright, i gotta get back to life. Have a wonderful Monday...
