chipotle and rain
I love Fridays but rainy Friday's aren't so much fun. I woke up at 8am (early for me) again for the 5th straight day. This whole going to bed early thing is really working! I feel energized throughout the day and get sleepy eyed right in around bedtime. This is one new years resolution that's gonna stick around. I have even gotten Neil to hit the sack earlier. He does complain but I think he likes the energy he has the next day too.
As for the dogs, Rocco is the master of sleeping. He can go to bed early and sleep in so he's doing great with this new schedule, except he hates to wake up. He lounges on the bed for as long as he can while we get ready for work. Peezy on the other hand is a whole other story. He gets a HUGE spurt of energy at night right when we go to bed. He starts jumping around on the bed and wants us to throw his toy around the bedroom. This goes on for about 20 minutes. All the lights have to be off for him to get the hint. In the morning, he's up like a sparkplug. As soon as I step out of the bed, he's running around waiting for something to happen. He goes downstairs and plays while we get ready. We literally have to drag Rocco out of bed. It's hilarious!! I am sure you all really didn't need to hear the details about my dogs sleep schedule but it is pretty funny how different they are from one another.
In eating news, I went to lunch to Chipotle with my co-workers. This chipotle opened up about 4 months ago near our mountain view campus. I am pretty new to this McDonald owned franchise but its amazing how much business they get. There are like 5 things offered on the menu and the place is a zoo! I wonder how they came up with their marketing plan. Its genius! I must say that their chicken burritos are delicious and all the veggies (including their guacamole) is fresh.
I was excited for my weekend but the rain could damper some of my plans, especially the ones involving golf. Neil and I are invited to go to a Stealth game tonight at the HP Pavilion. The Stealth is the San Jose Lacrosse team and that's all i know. I know absolutely nothing about the sport but no sport has disappointed me yet. Try n' stay dry in this much needed rain. Good thing my pooches are inside! Have a great weekend!
