Weekend Update

What a weekend it's been. The first week of 2007 was decent. I can't say it was great because that would mean that my week would have had to have been flawless, which it wasn't. On Friday, I got another email from my freaking annoying ass neighbor:
"There is a common courtesy law regarding noise, and it doesn't just apply after hours. I'm already in the process of filing complaints with both the board of directors and the police department. Leaving your dogs alone for extended periods of time in the cold out doors will result in you losing your animals."

OH MY GOD. Just rereading that email again got me fired up. I dare him to report me. The cops would come to my house and say, who's closet full of clothes is this? And I'd say, MY DOGS!!! and to think, someone would think I neglect my poor pooches! Anywho, I'm over it now (sorta) and just have to move on. I know I never leave my dogs outside so I could careless what this nobody thinks. OK. Let's change the subject.

Friday night, Neil and I spent hanging out with family. We spent the evening at Naghmeh my cousin's house in Los Gatos for some delicious ghormeh sabzi. Mmm Mmm good. We also got to smoke some Pomergranite tobacco out of a beautiful Persian hookah. Can't beat that with some tea!

Then on Saturday after running errands, taking Rocco and Peezy (and meeting up with Chuco) to the dogpark and chillaxing around the house, Neil and I watched the Dallas-Seahawks game together. Jenni and Carlos came over near the 2nd half. Obviously, as a Dallas Cowboys fan and a T.O. worshiper, I am not happy with the results of the game. Here I was trying to make Neil feel better about the Seahawks losing with about a minute left to the game and then ROMO loses the ball and messes up all of our playoff dreams! Oh my gosh. How horrible was that? How come Dallas can't just win?
Why Tony Why???

If for some stupid reason, you missed the game or the gazillion highlights of it, here's what happened:

I'm glad the seahawks won because of Josh Parry BUT its just ... i dunno. I'm still upset. Oh well. After the game, the four of us kiddo's headed over to the San Jose Improv to see CHARLIE MURPHY. As soon as we got there (about 20minutes to show time) we were in shock to see the line go all the way down to Zonatto's! It was so long. We managed to get pretty good seats on the lower level so I can't complain. Charlie's 2 opening acts were hilarious. Soo funny. Charlie Murphy himself was alright. I expected a lot more out of him but he still got me to chuckle once or twice. The dude that went on before him was outstanding. I would pay to see him again. As you can see, my weekend was going pretty good. But it was only about to get better when on Sunday I was gonna go golf at Pasatiempooooo!!! Brandon (aka Bubba) hooked me and Neil up with a tee time with him and one of Brandon's buddies at noon. It was the most gorgeous day on Sunday. The sun was out in FULL Bloom. It was so nice in Santa Cruz that I took off my sweater and played with just my polo. How amazing to be able to do that in the middle of January!! The course was also in great shape. I can't thank Brandon enough for taking us out. He's awesome! To make things even cooler, Jerry Rice was golfing in a 2some RIGHT behind us. We let him pass through and saw him play a par 3. I think he shot a bogey but who's counting right? (ME!!)

Well I'm about over my quota for posting. Here's a little picture show from the past week's events. Happy Monday!
