sundays are fundays
This past weekend was interesting. I was in town all weekend but spent my time sleeping over at my family's house since my boyfriend Neil had his Father, Bro Josh and Josh's father in law over at our place for a boys weekend. They had NCAA March madness tix in San Jose for all the games + golf tee times scheduled all weekend long. I thought I'd let them be and do my own thing. What i realized this weekend is that I love to shop. =)
I spent a number of days going to mall with various people including my aunt Naazi, RJ, Alana and Candice and sometimes with just me alone... those are sometimes the best shopping trips. I bought some fabulous items and my excuse shopping this weekend was MY NEW JOB. I kept telling myself, "Oh I totally need this for the city... " suuuuurrreeee.
I just got home this morning and now my weekly cleaners are here working on the house. To my absolute surprise, I walked into a very very tidy house this morning. Seriously, I was shocked. The dishes were done, the house was spotless. Good going Dude! too bad he forgot the cleaners were coming. hee hee....
The pooches have been at doggie overnight camp all weekend. They are going to be sooo excited to come home. I miss them terribly and feel so bad that we had to leave them there during the weekend but I think it was for the best. I hope they don't think I'm a bad mommie. Speaking of mommie's my friend alana is pregnant. She is the cutest pregnant girl ever. She's got the tiniest little bump and her body still looks amazing. We walked into a maternity clothing store yesterday and I could just feel the pregnant ladies in there (who were Huge) giving her dirty looks. We had to leave asap. =)
Wish me luck tomorrow as I hit the world of "Waking up early". I don't know why but my doctor won't prescribe me sleeping pills. Its so annoying. I need them if I'm going to have to wake up at the ass crack of dawn. My bullet train departs the Dridron Cal Train station at either 7:03 or 7:45 in the morning. I still haven't decided which one I'm going to take. I guess that will have to be a game time decision. Check out the prices for commuting using pubic transportation in the Bay Area...
My Commute
Cal Train: Monthly Pass $245.25
Muni Bus Monthly Pass: $45.00
Parking at the Cal Train Station: $2 a day ($40 a month)
Grand Total: $330 a month
I guess I can look at this in a positive way. I'm not driving. I can work while I take the train. I am helping out with Global Warming by not driving and I can learn to appreciate my car more. There. Finito. Gotta go. Ciao.
