Seattle and back-- GOLDEN STATE OF SHOCK!
Yay! I'm back.
Neil and I recently went to Seattle for a week long business trip. I was going to the REAL headquarters to do some training on the Cadence Methodology for Project management. The course was really really interesting and I am looking forward to applying a lot of the key tools back to my job in SF. This was my first time in Seattle. It was pretty cool. Our hotel, the Edgewater, was located right on the water and my company was right across the street. The weather was exactly what you would expect it to be. Rainy. Cloudy. Gloomy. I think I saw the sun come out once. Besides the gloomy depressing factor, Seattle is gorgeous. Everything is so green and lush. It was really amazing. But I don't think I could deal with the weather. It was pretty dreary. Neil was also able to squeeze in some golf with his bro Josh who's on the seattle seahawks. The guys on the team get free access to a private country club so Neil go to play somewhere fairly nice. Josh also took us by the Seattle Seahawks stadium and their training facilities. I cannot WAIT for the season to start!!!!
We arrived back in San Jose at midnight lastnight, only to be greeted by more rain. Do you think I brought back that weather from seattle? I hope not. I have to admit that I'm pretty burnt out from my trip. I'm on the train headed to work but thankfully we're going to go see SPIDERMAN today. I bet you I'm going to fall asleep. I cannot WAIT to sleep in tomorrow. Oh god. I don't think I can emphasize how excited I am!!

Let's also give a HUGE shoutout to the Bay Areas OWN WARRIORS! We BELIEVE BABY!! I watched the first quarter but had to board the plane last night but as soon as we landed me and neil heard the score and we both smiled from ear to ear!! I can't even tell you how siked I am to see the Warriors dominate like they have been. Dallas who? Now the Houston-Utah game this Saturday will be important because the Warriors play the winner of that game. That series is tied 3-3. But honestly, No one plays with the same passion as the warriors. WE can take this ALL THE WAY!
Now, the sharks, another bay area favorite play tonight. That'll be fun to watch too. Chompers get ready! OK. the train has landed. I gotta go. Happy FREAKING Friday!
