Where have I been?
It has been so long since I posted something juicy. Well things in my life have been twirled upside down (but in a good way) ever since I started my new job at Real networks. Working on the rhapsody music team has been an amazing adventure so far and I feel that after a long time I am finally being challenged and if you are a LEO like me, then you know that LEO's love a challenge.
The past few weeks have been insane with some huge projects at work. In addition to that, mothers day was last weekend and then I had my friend Jeni's bachelorette party on Saturday and then my other friend Alana's baby shower on Sunday. In other words, its been wacko insane lately but I'm not complaining because I'm having fun with it all.
On Friday night, Neil and I took a little time to ourselves and went on a date to see GYPSY KINGS in San Francisco at the Nob Hill Masonic Theater. It was the most amazing concert ever and I think that I am falling in love with flamenco music. I actually really want to take some type of salsa dancing class. I have been thinking about this on and off for years now but its finally time to stop talking and get walking!
I am on the train back home right now and I have to say that the weather was amazing in SF today. It was nearly in the 80's in the potrero district. Even though that's a sunny side of town, it was still nice.
So does everyone like the new look & feel of my blog? I think I have ADD with it so please bare with me as the design will change more in the future. I just love new things!!
In some very sad news, Reggae on the River has been canceled this year for the first time in almost 30 years. WHY you ask? two words, political bullshit. Neil and I were soooooo excited to go this year and we had all kinds of exciting plans for this year's festivities. So now we're in the market for a good getaway in August, so if you have any ideas, let me know! OK. My fingers hurt. I gotta go. Have a great night and I will try to post more, i promise.
Before I leave, here are a few slideshows of pictures that I think you might wanna checkout:
