Call me Camping Nature Girl..

I am sooo excited. Tonight is Thursday but if feels like a Friday. After I work for a few hours (FROM HOME) tomorrow, Neil, Rocco, Peezy and I are jumping in the cadi and heading to Bodega Bay where the rest of my Family and I (minus Jouvan.. we will miss her) will spend the weekend camping, chilling and hanging at the beach. This is the most I have camped in a summer. This will be my 4rth camping trip and I hope to double that next year. It is just nice to get away, hike, swim, fish, make fires, bbq and spend time in the outdoors.
It's pure bliss.

To make things even more exciting, Neil's little brother Jace is going to go with us so he can hang out with my cousin Ariyana. They are so cute together and get a long really well so I'm sure it'll be a blast. We are going to celebrate Elliott my cousins bday while we're in Bodega Bay. So far we've got about 15 people going. I love weekends like this, especially since I need to have physical breaks away from my computer.

As for the rest of the summer, I have no major plans remaining. I really enjoyed my summer but I felt like it flew by. These days I leave the house and head to SF at 7am and get home anywhere between 8pm-10pm so having a day at home feels like a vacation for me. I do want to plan some type of getaway soon. Neil and I just have no time during football season, with him doing the SJSU radio, coaching, trips to watch the Seahawks play and both of us working. Rarr...

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and let's all hope that
1) The weather is awesome at the beach
2) Michael Vick is sentenced to 5 years in Jail PLUS he has to invest 50% of his NFL salary to fight dog fighting. I have purposely not commented about this because my doctor says I need to keep my blood pressure down. I already feel like punching something just thinking about HOW CRUEL MICHAEL VICK has been to dogs. :(
3) That my fantasy football team does really well this season

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!!
