shocker!! (not)
Another bachelor contestant breaks off an engagement... I am seriously about to boycott this show. Actually I know I won't be able to resist the urge to watch the next season but I swear the fact that everyone on the show (except for one couple) breaks up makes me wonder, what happened to love? I guess one thing the show does prove and that is that you cannot fall in love and decide to spend the rest of your life with someone in the matter of weeks. its just not real.
People are simply giving up on their partner too early. A relationship is a struggle, no matter what. I love my sister Jouvan but when we were growing up, we used to fight ALL THE TIME. We would say nasty things to eachother and I would sit on her and threat to spit on her face. It was nasty.. but we didn't go and divorce eachother. We just kept at it and now that we're mature our relationship is incredible and I would die for her. Marriage should be looked at kind of the same way... You should view the bond as forever and try your best to make it through everything.
I realize there are times when divorce is the only option but people consider that idea far to early in their relationship. So my piece of advice to the world, Give it your all, Give your marriage the same bond as you would have with your own blood (mom, dad, sis etc).
It'll make your life far easier.
Now, onto the article that got me heated, here ya go...

Last season's The Bachelor stars, Lt. Andy Baldwin and his chosen lady, social worker Tessa Horst, confirm to PEOPLE that they have broken their engagement but not their bond with each other.
"We are very much in love and committed to our relationship," the couple say in a statement. "With the possibility of reassignment to a new location, we decided it was not the ideal time for Tessa to uproot herself and move out [to Hawaii] right now. Our relationship continues to deepen, and we're very hopeful about our future together."
At the ABC party during the Television Critics Association press tour in late July, Baldwin, 30, told PEOPLE that the San Francisco-based Horst, 26, was due to move to Hawaii, where Baldwin is currently posted, at the end of that month.
Baldwin had selected Horst on the May 21 finale of their season on the matchmaking program. At the time, Horst told PEOPLE, "Andy brings light into any room and just lights up the room. His smile and his warmth just make him so great to be around."
About his station in Hawaii, Baldwin said, "I know that I have a year left and I may have the option of a three-year tour. There is also the option of a position in California. There is also a chance of me going back to finish my residency training. I am a firm believer that everything happened for a reason, and I am a firm believer that this happened in my life for a reason. Tessa came onto the show for a reason, and it is like a dream come true."
The next season of The Bachelor will begin on ABC Sept. 24.
