My heart goes out to Kevin Everett and His Family
Before I went to bed last night, Neil and I were watching the NFL game recaps from the day's events when we came across news that gave both of us goose bumps. Kevin Everett, the starting Tight End for the Buffalo Bills was motionless after he went head-on during a kick off return with the opposing team. Everyone stood and watched as the 25 year old lay there not moving. The game was stopped for 20 minutes followed by Everett being rushed to the hospital and into surgery. The prognosis was still unknown last night but today, I just read the horrible news. Kevin may be paralyzed. Its moments like this when you realize how TOUGH and LIFE CHANGING football can be for people at all levels.
My heart goes out to Kevin and the Everett family and I hope the BEST in his recovery and wish him all the best. Below is the most recent article published. I am in a state of shock and have this really sad feeling and wish that it could be different. Before I leave, you can watch the play as well as get more info on the game,
