weekend wrap up

This is a catch up post and I wanted to say hello to the world. My week has been sooo great and I haven't been this relaxed in weeks. Work has been very crazy lately (since 10-1-07 to be exact). My days have been consumed with work; long hours and lots of stress had me weak in the brain. This week has been wayy different. I had a relatively relaxing work week followed by a fun filled weekend hanging out with friends and family. Friday night, Neil, the dogs and I had a visit with the Cervantes bunch and played wii and had dinner. Hanging with them is always fun. Saturday was a day of college football (sjsu won) followed by an evening with my fellow Spartan alumni Scott, Alana and Mike Carr. Neil and I hung out with them all night watching football, drinking and rocking out to my new favorite game Guitar Hero 3. Alana and I were trying to get our beer drinking maximized to better prepare ourselves for Cabo San Lucas where Alana will officially become Mrs. Rislov. We were able to successfully drink 5 beers each and while it wasn't hard, i had that 'full of beer' feeling. We also ate this really yummy pizza where we got from 'The Garrett' in campbell. The pizza was delicious and I highly recommend the place to everyone. I also slept great too last night.

Today was another relaxing morning followed by a family cowboys game gathering over at my Uncle Arash's house. We have been watching a lot of the Dallas Cowboy games together because everytime we are together, they win. T.O and Romo dominated as expected and its been 12 years since the Cowboys have had a season this amazing (they are 8-1). Ni and I just got back home from taking the dogs on a super long walk throughout downtown. Its so awesome seeing all of the Christmas in the park decorations starting to make their way into San Jose. Growing up in San Jose, there is not one year where I didn't go to Xmas in the Park and it brings back lots of good memories. I also saw the new 'Bijan's Bakery' that opened up right by the fairmont hotel walk-way. I used to work at the bakery one summer when I was 15. They are a family owned establishment and the owners and I are very close. I stopped by and said hi. I encourage everyone to visit this new spot. The pastries and food are absolutely amazing. Milav the owner also promised me a gorgeous wedding cake when I get married. (still waiting.....)

I took Monday off and will be starting my morning off with a mani/pedi followed by a massage at Burke Williams. My aunt Naazi and I have a really fun girls day planned out. I'm siked for it because I haven't been shopping in for.e.ver nor have I been pampered by a professional lately. Neil's foot massages are amazing but a pro can really give you the real business. :)

Here are some cute pics I wanted to randomly post... enjoy.
Dwight Lowrey #25 (my favorite spartan) --> watch for him in the NFL soon!
