XMAS 2007... one more day!

Santa betta' come down my chimney tonight!!Woohoo its Christmas eve and I'm home while tons of Americans are spending today either shopping OR working! this is by far the strangest Christmas eve by far because its on a Monday. Mondays are mediocre and its strange that some people are working when Santa is only HOURS away from hitting up the chim chimeny's!

The last time I posted was regarding Peezy's surgery so I'll give you a recap on whats been going on in my crazy world...

Peezy:
Neil and I picked up Peezy on Thursday. He has the cutest cast on that looks like a white and red candy cane. We're going to try and have lots of fun with his cast because quite frankly, its pretty darn sweet. The post op has been quite interesting. Peezy has been in and out of pain and I think the cabin fever is settling in. He's a bit of a control freak when it comes to his toys so when he sees Rocco playing with a toy, he freaks out. Poor Rocco has been bored too. However, Neil and I have been around my family, especially RJ and my sis Jouvan so they've been giving him attention as both Neil and I are connected at Peezy's hip. I'm actually looking into buying a sling so I can carry Peezy around with me. Its hard carrying all 18lbs of him around the house as I work. ok. i'll stop complaining. I am happy he's going to be better and I really appreciate the love and support the vet and our family has given us. (Full House Cheeseball moment)

My Sister:
My lovely sister Jouvan has come home for the holidays and she's had a small procedure done too. I am not sure if I'm at liberty to tell people so for her sake, I won't. But its an exciting thing for her as well as the rest of us and as soon as I get the OK from Miss. Hollywood herself, I will give our more details.

The rest of the week has been consumed with trips to the mall, cleaning the house and spending time with family. Its sooo nice having everyone around for the holidays. Its absolutely amazing. On Sunday, my mom invited all of us to the Center for Spiritual Enlightment. This is my mom's temple and she had a reading there from a scripture. I really enjoy going to her church because I believe in god however I don't want to associate myself with just ONE religion. Therefore, when you go to the Center for Spiritual Enlightment, there's people of all religions and you can share the holidays with all of the gods. :) its pretty cool. We had a nice time there and during the meditation time, I was actually able to slow down and really think about my life and all of the wonderful and amazing people I have around me. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the Sunday Service.

As for the NOW, I just came home from the grocery store and will be making a fabulous baked chicken dish for my Neil. Tomorrow will be the day we spend doing family stuff. We weren't able to make it up to Sonora this year because of Peezy's surgery so we are trying to do our best to spend time with the family we have here. I'm sad because we love being at Neil's mom's house this time of year but our lil' guy needs tLc at home. At the same time, it's good to be able to be with my family. My sister, Neil and I will first go to my uncle Arash's house and then go to my dad's for xmas dinner. I have my night full since I have yet to gift wrap ANYTHING. Next year will be different. I will tell you all my plans later but I think XMAS is becoming wayy to much with all the gift buying. We need to chill out as a society. More on this later.

I wish everyone (if anyone reads this anymore) a MERRY CHRISTMAS and hope that you get to spend time with your loved ones and have lots of egg nog and cool presents.
