My early morning post....

Its early however I am not working today. All for good reason... a very close member of our family friends has passed away and today is the funeral service for her. She was a very young lady and left the world all too soon. It is going to be a rough day as this is only the 2nd funeral I've been too. In fact, my very close friend since I was a child, Nima... who is like a brother to me will be there. The deceased is his aunt and they were extremely close. I hope today's ceremony is beautiful and that her departure to a amazing place is grand.

On another note... I AM SORE. Sore because Alana and I went to bikram yoga this week and believe you me it was not easy. First off, we get to the yoga studio and we planned on being there early JUST so we can get seats by the door (its cooler there). We end up situated in a fairly good spot. The yoga teacher walks in and says, who's new to this class.... Alana snickers and says I'm not raising my hand. Just as Alana was about to finish her sentence, the Yoga Instructor calls out 'Alana?'

Ha haaaaaaaaaaaa... The lady then proceeds to ask Alana to move to the middle of the room so that she can see everyone do the yoga positions. That made it ALL BAD... mostly because Alana wasn't new to Bikram yoga but she wanted to get the 10 sessions for $20 deal so she has said she was new. All in all, we weren't able to sit next to each other and we were both dying of heat in the class. Nonetheless, we both really enjoyed being back in yoga and plan on going again soon. Just how soon depends on how soon our bodies recover from the workout.

In other news, Peezy is getting better as we near the day for him to get his cast off (I believe 23 more days to be exact). He still can't walk and he's under sedation a lot of the time because he gets very restless when he's off his medicine. Rocco is also going through a tough time because he just wants his brother back :( He's got cabin fever like no other.

I will be posting later today but I thought I'd say good morning AMERICA for the first time on Rougetimes. woo hoo.

Have a good one!!
