Peezy Problems
The new year got off to a rocky start...

Poor lil' Peezy. On New Years Eve, Neil and I noticed a big sore developing on Peezy's leg just above his cast. We thought nothing of it. We kept his head funnel on more than usual so that he's stop licking it. Anyways, the next day, Jan 1st, the smell of his leg was awful. Infections typically carry a foul odor with them and we assumed it was coming from the open sore on his leg.
We chose to wait until his vet opened (today) to take him in. Low and behold, I get a call from the vet saying that his entire leg was covered in a blood and was infected under his cast. WTF!!!
I was really calm when I spoke to the doctor and when I hung up, I was pretty upset. How could this happen? To make things worste, when I went to pick up Peezy, the doctor teased me because NEIL sold me out and told her I was crying! I looked like the biggest wimp! so mad.
Well they cleaned his leg up and taped it all up. Now, we have to take him back again on Friday for a recheck and they will change out the bandages once more. This has been really hard dude. I don't wish for anyone to have to go through this with their doggies. Atleast kids can talk. I wish Peezy could learn sign language.

Now he's back at home with me and smell and infection free. He's also back on antibiotics. Fantastic. I worked from home today but will have to leave the doggies home by themselves. Hopefully I don't come home to more disastrous stuff. I just really really want 2008 to be chill and relaxing. I think I'm due for a good year...
Ok, I better go chill with my dogs and watch some football.
