Oscars, Wedding, Peezy Update and more....
I have been very MIA lately, besides a few posts here and there I have yet to do anything worth noting. I spent most of this weekend working and also had the pleasure of getting a 92mph speeding ticket on 280 in a 65 mph zone as I headed to SF for work. Figures! I get a speeding ticket going to work on a Saturday! what gives!! I had no energy to try and level with the cop and I just took the ticket like a champ. I am scared to see how much its going to be. I feel like I am about to take a few hundred bucks and a lot of my time and flush them down the toilet. That's what I feel happens when you pay anything to the DMV. What a joke!
I have been trying to get little moments of R&R with my fiance and doggies plus my family but it has been hard to be around people when I'm so tired. It'll all pass soon so I'm excited to get this project done and with high quality.
Wedding Stuff:
I'm off trying to now find bridesmaids dresses and also working on finalizing the wedding theme and color scheme. It's really nice having a lot of time and I am so thankful I didn't set a date this summer. I would have gone nuts. Next up, save-the-dates.
Oscars
I watched the Oscars lastnight and I found it kinda boring. I am happy that Jouvan's movies (There will be blood and No Country for Old men) won a lot of awards and feel that Paramount Vantage does an excellent job at picking up movies that are heartfelt and interesting.
I loved the dresses, especially Marion Cotillard's white dress (see right). I also loved Javier Bardems speech in which he dedicated his Oscar to his mother. God I love mama's boys. All in the all the winners were all well deserving of their Oscars but I thought Jon Stewart sucked ass as the host. He was putting me to sleep and I found myself changing the channel a number of times. Let's get someone like Jack Black next year people!! someone with Per-SO-Na-lity!
Peezy Update:
Peezy's leg is the same. The countdown came and went and it has been over 8 weeks since Peezy had surgery. We have another xray appointment coming up and I HOPE HOPE HOPE that his bones have grown closer and have closed the gap. He's getting so frustrated. Last week,as mom and dad were away at work, Peezy decided to take matters into his own hand and gnawed off almost all of this cast. It was bad. Cotton and Bandage pieces were all over the house. It was almost like he said, THIS IS IT AND I'VE HAD IT. OFF WITH THE BANDAGES!!! As soon as he gets off his cast, Neil and I, along with Rocco are going to take the boys to the beach and let Peezy run around full speed on the sand. It'll be so beautiful!! I need a video camera.
alrighty, well I hope everyone's week is fantastic. Let's hope the weather clears up because Neil is back on his feet and off the crutches and we're ready to GOLF! let's go SUNSHINE!! I haven't golfed since the summer and I'm afraid to go because its going to be ugly however I gotta get back on the course to get my skills back in order.
Ciao.
