Two small earthquake jolted San Jose Monday night, lasting only a few seconds.

Both quakes measured 3.0. on the Richter scale and centered five miles from Alum Rock and nine miles from San Jose City Hall, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The first struck at 10:39 p.m. and the second at 11:16 p.m.
No damage was reported.
The quakes occured in the same area as a 5.6 earthquake along the Calaveras Fault that rattled the region on Oct. 30.
