and the Sharks are out...
The sickest catch was made by Nabokov in one of the overtime period where he went from left to right and back to left to save a upper goal shot, stopping the puck just inches from the red line.
Neil and I started watching the game at 6pm. Around 11, we tucked the boys into their doggie crate and went to bed and watched the rest of the game from there. I only made it to the beginning of the 3rd OT period. I couldn't keep my eyes awake. I had been chewing my nails and filled with anxiety since 6pm that day due to the game's volatile moments so by midnight, I had enough. I woke up this morning to hear the bitter news from Nini. I was disappointed but yet, I was very proud of the Sharks and their effort. The buzz from last night's excitement was still around when I listened to Radnich on KNBR and then came into work and recapped the game with some of my co-workers. I don't remember the last time a bay area team got me that pumped up so a huge congrats to the sharks and their coaching staff. We all know Dallas is gonna get their faces beat down when they play Detroit. Good luck to them.
