The start of my LAST (3rd) TRIMESTER

This whole pregger thing has been pretty cool so far. I have had plenty of ups and downs and somehow your body learns to adjust itself to everything. I still cannot stop starting at my belly and still cannot believe I'm pregnant and will be having a beautiful baby boy in about 90 days. My life will forever change and I have never been more excited to welcome change into my life as I have been with Baby Parry.

The first trimester was rough. I bet you can tell because I don't think I hardly posted anything on my site. I was super tired ALL the time, I was on the verge of barfing or actually barfing everyday and I was scared. The best way to explain what I was going through was that it felt like I was going through an outer body experience, just waiting to get back to my original self. To top things off, my RLS (restless leg syndrome) was OFF THE HOOK. It would kick in at about 9pm and I would just be in constant agony until I finally fell asleep. It sucked ass but seriously having Neil and my family and of course the doggies there to support me through those hellish first 4 months was a blessing.

The second trimester, was heaven. I had read and heard from friends that this would be the case but once you feel the hellish wrath of the first trimester, it's really hard to imagine how life would be being pregnant and joyful. Honestly, I just ended the 2nd trimester and it was cool. Not necessarily 100% free of issues but it felt good. I got to see my belly grow right before my eyes and also started feeling the baby kick on June 5th, right after a long evening release that lasted until about 2am at work the night before. Was junior kicking me because he was mad? Probably. Was it the coolest thing ever? Yes. Here is a picture of my belly at 22 weeks. This was about 5 weeks ago so I will have to update this post with a more recent picture but I am MUCH bigger than this pic.

Now as I embark on my last and final trimester, I am greeted with lots of emotions of excitement, fear of the labor (how will this big ole thing come out!) and I am also starting to feel some of the yucks of pregnancy again. First and foremost, I never had HEARTBURN before this and I have a new found respect and soft spot for anyone who experiences this on the daily. since my belly is growing, it squishes all my bodily organs like my stomach and stuff so I have been having this crazy excruciating heartburn for almost 3 weeks now and its been getting worst daily. The last week has also been a little strange because that wonderful nausea feeling has started to creep up on me in the mornings. I have fought visiting the porcelain gods for now but I can't imagine there being much longer until I have to go and pray to it. I have also been experiencing some HARD CORE back pain. Backpain that feels like sharp shooters inside my back are attacking my ass. Its horrible, especially at night. I have a maternity back brace that I wear but its sorta uncomfortable. The baby has been kicking and jumping and moving around like crazy. I see my belly jump and its pretty funny. Sometimes he gets in these odd positions that hurt so I have to move him around. This part of the pregnancy is by far the coolest. I will keep you all updated on my 3rd trimester ups and downs because the time will go by fast and I am sure you are all dying to hear a play-by-play of my pregnancy.

Neil and I start our childbirth preperation classes next Thursday. we are super excited to learn more and also get better prepared for what is to come. We have already started to clear our the spare bedroom of our condo for junior. We have one more trip remaining to storage and the 2nd bedroom is officially ALL FOR JUNIOR. My dad was sweet and got his soon-to-be grandson a crib, changing table, mattress and more. The changing table has a piece that was broken so we are waiting to get a new one and we planon building the crib this weekend. I can't wait! The nursery is going to be a baby jungle theme since both Ni and I are animal lovah's. We thought about a sports theme but that was way too predictable. He can have a sports theme when he's older. However, Neil does have tons of sports stuff for his room like his ESPY boxing gloves, signed 49er Jerry Rice shoes, etc... I got a signed Dallas Cowboys football from all of their hall of fame players. That thing is going to be the focal point of the room because Junior is going to be a cowboys fan!!

OK. I better get going. This post might take up my entire webpage. Have a great weekend and remember to smile at a pregnant lady if you see one.
