Whats been happening??
Good Evening Guys!!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I was busy doing stuff with my shower, the nursery and all of other life's exciting events.
The shower
I had my baby shower a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it was awesome. My family (Naazi, Mom, Jouvan, Naghmeh and Cousin Zari) really went above and beyond to throw me the ultimate baby shower. I got the most amazing gifts and all of them make the nursery for Baby Parry super special. I never thought having a baby shower would be so much fun but don't be fooled, it took a lot planning and work bringing it all together. The party theme was Lil' Cowboy and my aunt's yard was decorated in Red and White table settings and balloons, sunflowers, country decor and all the fixings for a perfect BBQ. The party began around 11am on Sunday July 20th and winded down about 9pm that night. The weather was perfect that day, not too hot and not too cold. All of my bestest friends and family gathered to celebrate the biggest event of my life with me and that was a really special thing to me. A lot of the men, including Pappa Parry came to the party after the 'girls' shower was over and they got to see what it was like being at a shower. They ate and hung out and I made Neil load up the Cadi with a TON of stuff for Junior.
Baby Parry's Nursery
The nursery has been on the top of my priority list lately. With the help of Neil along with my mom and dad, the nursery is almost done! My mom and I have been busily shopping for baby parry every chance we get and Neil has been loving (I'm not kidding) assembling all the stuff like cribs, changing table, drawers, gliders etc. He loves getting out his tool box and he does a great job at getting the stuff put together and done RIGHT. I will post pictures of the nursery and of course the Baby Shower soon. I promise :)
I am getting bigger day by day and can't imagine how much bigger I can get in the next coming months. I have about 70ish days left of being pregnant and if I'm to gain an avg of 1 more pound a week, I might look like a 5'1 sumo wrestler. NOT CUTE.
Hot Dogs
The doggies still have no clue whats about to happen to them. They act like nothing has changed... well we changed things for them early on so it wouldn't seem like the baby did it. For starters, Rocco and Peezy aren't able to sleep with mommy and daddy anymore. This happened early on in my pregnancy and now they actually love sleeping downstairs. We've also stopped giving them run of the house while we're gone because they are still not 100% potty trained. We got tired of cleaning up pee and poo. It was getting old. It'll be nice once I am on maternity to spend time with them and have them bond with the new baby. Hopefully Peezy doesn't try to take all of Junior's toys. Peezy's got this thing about obsessing with his toys and not allowing others to play with them. Wish me luck on that!!
LEO TIME
I got my birthday coming up soon along with the other LEO birthdays in the family. It started with my uncle Malcolm, followed by my sister Jo, then Amanda, then Rocco, Cyrus, Aryana, ME and Elliott. Did I get everyone? As you can see, August is a family month to PARTY. I am celebrating my birthday this year with my family at Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch restaurant at Carmel By The Sea. This is the 3rd time I'm having a bday there and since I can't drink, I think eating their amazing brunch dishes will make up for it. I still can't believe I'm about to be 30!! Hot Damn! That's young :)
