Obama 2008 - CHANGE!

Were you one of over 38 million Americans that watched lastnights acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention??

I was...

I watched Obama's speech last night and I have to admit, I got Goosebumps a few times because I felt the energy and power in his words. Not only is he an amazing public speaker but his views on many topics were very balanced and similar to those that I believe. This is the first candidate that has been so closely aligned with my values and principles. I hope that everyone watches the Obama speech, more than once, and really hones in on his views on real world issues that we face on a daily basis.

I wasn’t so much inspired by Obama’s speech, I felt more relieved that our lives can be normal again after having spent over 8 months in such a shitty economy. As a middle class member of society, I absolutely connected with Obama’s speech and feel that his goals are to help middle/low class rather than focus on the rich who don’t need as much relief. I remember when Bill Clinton was voted into office. Our economy was in the same condition as it is now before he began and then it changed, drastically and made lives of millions of Americans a dream come true! Especially in the Silicon Valley!!

I think Obama is the best fit for the job and I look forward to having him be our president. I also hope that McCain enrolls in some computer classes and learns how to use the internet.

"November 4, EIGHT IS ENOUGH!"

The Republican National Convention kicks off in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Monday. I will be watching it but I doubt it will be even half the experience that was felt in Denver…that made the Democratic Convention an event to remember
