TV is sucking right now
I know the fall TV lineup is right around the corner but television as it stands SUCKS!! As I am getting larger, rounder and having more difficulties moving around, I have been finding myself more and more confined to the couch and I swear I am having the HARDEST time sitting still because there is NOTHING to watch. What gives!! Everything is either a rerun or a reality show that I could careless about. Renting movies is also getting a little on the weak side. Maybe its my ADD kicking in during the last few weeks of my pregnancy but I'm BORED! Plain and Simple. I can't fathom sitting on the couch but moving around isn't all that great either.
I think about going out and doing stuff but the idea of it, while spectacular, does not work with my achiness and fatigue. I only work (actually commute to SF) twice a week and those days are beginning to get rough. By the time I get home, my feet are swollen like SHREK. Driving for 2.5 hours doesn't feel good on my back either and I swear, I was in the worst traffic driving home last night. I was tired, sleepy and I had to fight to keep my eyes open at 7pm on 101 south. So not good.
Oh wait, I think I tivo'd 902100000000000 lastnight and big brother. Nice. That'll be some nice evening entertainment.
One thing that is keeping me happily entertained is shopping for junior. Here are a couple of shots of my recent purchases that just look adorable in the nursery:
The cutest (most comfy) changing table cover (called Pop Monkey):

I also got a cute diaper stacker to go with the changing table:

I'm now shopping for his bathroom decor. I still have yet to my a bassinet for our room so that's on the To Do list. Other than that, I'm seriously done. I want to buy more clothes too but I hesitate because I already have so much. Well, guess you can't ever have enough!
Ok. I gotta go now. Have a great evening and don't forget to watch the RNC... Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is suppose to talk and I'm looking forward to hearing her reaction to the media frenzy over her daughter's pregnancy. I still don't think the RNC will even come close to the DNC but its good to watch both sides so that your decision is well rounded.
