9 weeks old and counting...

My little munchkin is growing super duper fast. I cannot believe that he's already over 2 months old and heading towards the 3rd month marker. Where did the time go???????

I am loving motherhood and cannot believe I waited this long. No wonder I was dressing my dogs in clothes all the time. Sheesh, if I didn't have a baby yet I might have started swaddling my pooches :)

we had leonidus's 2 month doctor checkup last week. We went to see the doctor for his checkup AND to see what the heck was up with his eye. It had been watering a lot and it looked irritated. During LJ's 2 month check up, his stats were almost OFF THE CHARTS!!

  • Weight: 15lbs (yowza he's a big boy)... say mahshalah. 98th percentile (he's longer than 95% of kids his age)
  • Height: 24 inches (long) - 95th percentile (he's longer than 95% of kids his age)
  • Head Circumference: 40 cm (again, 95percentile)
Basically, our 2 month old is a 6-7 month old. I had to put away all his outfits that were 3 months and under. I tried to make them last but I swear he looked like a dorkus when he wore the clothes. The pants were too short, the shirts too tight and it looked like he was trying to get in where he did not fit in. So if you are going to buy him clothes, please buy BIG stuff! lol.

We ended up giving Leonidus only 2 of the 5 vaccines last week. We are going again today to give him the rest and to also check out his eye again. The watering hasn't stopped and its been 1 week. We've treated it with an eye ointment but no luck. I hope its not too big of a deal.

In other WONDERFUL BABY news, leonidus had his first ever laugh on December 26. it was mazing to witness him crack up in amazement as his daddy made fart noises and knocked around his mobile as his animals on it spun around and around. He LOVES his mobile more than anything else he owns. He gets so into it. When he laughed, my eyes filled with tears. It was just insane to see a little guy like that have so much joy. Moments like this make me want to do everything in my power to give him the best life possible.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!! I love love love football season ...
