The Xmas Season is Here

You can totally feel the Christmas buzz as we near the anticipated holiday. There are 12 days left until Xmas and I am nearly done with all my shopping. I did most of it online this year and I have to tell ya, its great having online shopping as an option when you have a 7 week old baby at home.

Neil has been off of work and the past few weeks have been pure bliss. I love having him here with me and Leonidus (and the dogs) because he gets to fall in love with him the way a father should. Its so important that a dad get to be with their son a lot at first. It creates a bond that is indescribable. You would think that we have a ton of time to get stuff done around the house but the fact of the matter is that we don't know where the time goes. We wake up and LJ and the dogs keep us super busy and next thing you know, its nightfall. I barely have time to go online but its all worth it because seeing Leonidus smile right now melts my heart and keeps me entertained for hours.

My baby is going to turn 2 months old on December 19 and I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was arriving home from the hospital. Man o Man, why didn't the preggerancy go this fast.

I also wanted to share with my readers a new site that my friend Jeni has built. She is making baby clothes and I have to say that she is one of the most creative artistic people i know. Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!!
