Happy 8 Month Birthday Leonidus!!
My baby turned 8 months old on Friday (June 19th) and all I can say it WOW, how time flies. It has been such an incredible month and so much has changed with our little boo. He has grown into such a cute adorable friendly heart-warming and loving boy. My days begin with so much joy when I wake up and he's laying next to me, with a HUGE smile that lights up the entire room. He smiles not just with his lips but with his whole face. His eyes crinkle, his nose puckers up... its just freaking amazing!!!
I feel like I bond and get closer to LJ each day. I'm thankful for all of the time I get to see him and countdown the minutes until I get home to see him. I am sure all parents feel this way but I never realized that having a child would be THIS AWESOME.

New developments over the last month:
(1) Crawls!!! Our baby is crawling all over. He hit this milestone at 7 months 2 weeks old but now, he's mastered it over the past 2 weeks. incredible!
(2) New sounds every days: LJ has began to form new sounds including a new laugh, new tones as well as different grunts for when he wants things... he especially loves to make this one noise in particular to get anyone and everyone's attention. SO CUTE!
(3) Pulls Up: This one came to me as a shock because it happened so close to his crawling milestone. I never thought LJ would be pulling himself up to a standing position so soon using anything and everyone in his site. Its cute but also dangerous since he's had some major falls...
(4) Eats with his fingers: We have graduated to finger foods!! LJ can now grab puffs and feed it to himself. Its pretty funny because he'll have a fist full and sometimes can't get his fist in the right angle to stick the puff in his mouth. One thing is for certain, it sure keeps him entertained!
(5) His walkers: LJ loves being in his little walker. He rolls around the house (and around the campground this past weekend). It's almost like he's a little stalker rolling around the house trying to find his mommy, daddy or even the dogs. Funny story about the dogs is that they follow him all over the place in the hopes that he drops food on the floor. Rocco is especially guilty of this one!
(6) Flirting: LJ has mastered the art of flirting at the ripe age of 8 months old. ladies, please watch out for this guy :)
(7) Loves TOYS!!: I didn't realize how much boys play but man o man, this kid loves toys, especially new ones. He also has a hard time letting go of stuff. If I grab anything from him, his face will scrunch up and he tries really really hard to make himself cry. Sometimes he's successful, other times he just gives up :)
