Wierd Weather in June...
The weather has been awfully strange and bipolar the past month. One weekend it'll be screaming hot and the next its cloudy and rainy. It sure feels like spring!! I for one can't wait for summer to roll around. Last summer I was preggers and huge and hot. This summer, I'm not and looking forward to doing all of my usual summer activities belly free.
I wonder if the reason that this time of the season is called spring because it springs back and forth to various climate changes. Makes you wonder. I for one hate cloudy days...especially if you have plans to do stuff. HOWEVER, I have recently realized (well during one of our last heat waves) that hot weather and having a baby is also not pleasant. Especially when you have to climb in and out of a vehicle. It's even worst for the parent because you're lugging around your sweet pea, a diaper bag, your purse (which is often times heavier than the diaper bag), a few toys, the stroller... etc etc etc... lugging all this stuff around in heat calls for one hot and sweaty mama. I wish they had a portable headband fan that just blew cold air over you as you did your mommy thang. That would be a great invention!!
As we get closer to the weekend I am praying for beautiful and warm weather, preferably in the mid 70's. Why? well I am golfing on Saturday and really hope my first day back (after a 15 month hiatus) will be perfect.
I am also looking forward to seeing my sister in town, although her appearances back have been shorter, it'll be nice to get to kick it with the other laalipop. One more thing, i'm getting my hair did on FRIDAY!! woo woo!!
I'm totally dreading on thing this weekend and that's cleaning, doing laundry and de-cluttering my house for upcoming open houses. My usual cleaner is busy till Monday so I can't just sit there through the entire weekend without doing something about it. Wish me luck. OK. Back to the daily grind. I'm outtie.
