Air McNair...Another loss
The past 2 weeks have brought on a lot of losses to the field of entertainment. First Ed McMahan followed by the tragic death of Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson. Next it was Billy Maze and now Steve McNair?? Woah Woah Woah, let's slow down a minute here. What is going on? Why are so many people passing WAY sooner than nature intended? At times like this we need to stop and re-evaluate our lives and make sure that we are doing our absolute best to live each day to it's fullest. You never know when it could be your last day on this earth so living a life filled with joy, love and happiness is an absolute must. This should be a wake up call for us sitting at home, fearing over the economy, worrying over money and other things that mean nothing when it comes to life and death.
Now, more about the death of Air McNair. I am saddened by this death because it was obviously a crime of passion and betrayal. I can't imagine being Steve McNair's wife and having to deal with such a f*cked up situation. For some reason, while I am watching the Michael Jackson memorial's streaming live on the web, I can't shake the fact the Steve McNair was found dead alongside his mistress. I don't even know what his wife must be thinking to have to mourn the loss of a husband and father while at the same time deal with the anger of having been cheated on. It pisses me off because here is a man with the world at his fingertips. 13 years of solid NFL playing time and even being nominated as an NFL MVP. He did the unthinkable by playing this long and probably exceeded a lot of the dreams he even had for himself. He had a beautiful wife and 4 grown up boys who were on the path to being great men themselves. Why on earth would you throw it all away for a 20 year old that ends up killing your ass!
At least have some respect for your family and end things properly with them before you start screwing around! I don't get it. Why do people think they can take advantage of people's emotions like this? And as usual I heard on the news that "McNair was suppose to be leaving his wife for this chick.." Well had he? No. Were there any divorce papers filed? No. He had NO business being with a chick that was only a couple of years older than his son! He should have been at home with his family and buying them stuff rather than buying a brand new Cadillac Escalade for some home wrecker. WTF. AS you can tell I have yet to absorb this story and I am still irritated that it all went down like this. May Steve McNair rest in peace and May his family and especially Mechelle McNair be able to grieve and somehow get passed this pain.
