Happy Holidays from the Parry Family!!

As the holidays are slowly winding down, I'm finally getting to relax and really enjoy my time off. This week is great. I get to work from home half of the week and get the rest of it off to spend with my awesome and amazing family! Christmas eve and the days following it were a whirl wind of dinner parties and family gatherings... by the time Saturday came around, I was ready to ride the couch and chill at home with Neil and LJ.

We purposely chose not to go anywhere during the holidays this year so we can catch up on all of the craziness that's been consuming all of our time since we moved in October. Since then, its been GO GO GO and I'm so happy to have this downtime!!

Leonidus is just a ball of energy and SO MUCH fun to be around! He plays 24-7. If he's not playing, he's begging me or his daddy to read him books. He loves books (he got that from Neil or his Aunti Jo, not from his momma that's for sure)... He got a TON of new toys for Christmas and has loved playing with each of them, especially his new baseball bat. We have to keep him from wacking the dogs with it but other than that its cool.

we hope that everyone had a beautiful Christmas and pray that everyone has a fun and safe NYE. 2010 is going to be a great year, I just know it. Just make sure to take advantage of EVERY SINGLE SECOND of EVERY DAY because you never know when it will be taken away from you. Live your life to its fullest, that should be your goal for 2010 :) or at least one of them.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Keep in mind i have 2 dogs on leashes with one hand and I'm juggling 2 coffees in my other hand while Neil is lugging 2 ...

Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!! I love love love football season ...
