Pandora Necklaces...not so happy with them right now.

My hubbie recently surprised me with a gorgeous necklace from Pandora. The necklace contained a leo charm in the middle (for yours truley) and a July and October birthstone set on each side representing each of my beautiful baby boys.

I wore this necklace for 2 months and the necklace part of it started to get tarnished looking, as if it were fake! I was pissed and during our last family outing to the mall, I went in to return it.

First I was greeted by this woman, who had a short very manly haircut and a look of attitude all over her face. When you walk into a store and the person working there dogs you, and you want to RETURN something, its just not good. I knew off the bat she was going to be a bit*ch. I greeted her nicely and showed her my necklace. I told her that I wanted to return the necklace because after 2 months and after spending over $300 on it, it looked like CRAP!

The lady looked at me, did a little neck bob and said, um where did you wear this? did you go to the desert? As she's asking this I'm holding my 2 month old son on the ergobaby. YES YOU DUMB ASS, I wore it in the desert with my son right after my c-section! She kept saying I have never seen this before. I don't know WHAT YOU DID TO IT...

WHAT I DID? The fact that she kept saying WHAT YOU DID pissed me off beyond belief! I've had the necklace for 2 months and it looks like I bought it from Forever 21! GIVE ME A BREAK!

OMG, are you joking. As if that wasn't RUDE enough, she laughed and said "What did you do to this thing?"

If you know me, I don't take well to this type of customer service. In my head I told myself to take a deep breath and counted down 3....2....1.

"OK here lady, First and foremost, You do not speak to your clients like that. I walked in here with the intention of having a grown up conversation about a possible defect in the product that my husband purchased for me. If your jewelry is as high quality as you claim, then this should not happen to a necklace after 2 months. AND NO I HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE DESERT, I JUST HAD A FREAKING BABY!... I need a manager now because you are rude and blame me rather than take responsibilty for it.

I basically shut the snatch up and she called her manager.

In walks the manager, a frail little Indian lady. She looked at the necklace and was shocked at how badly it was tarnished. She said the necklaces were real silver and that she has no idea how this happened. She could only allow me to exchange it but I was not happy about it. I was already rubbed the wrong way by the service I had received but the manager was nice and talked me into an exchange.

I am going to look at this necklace day and night and if I see even the smallest issue with it I am returning it with the QUICKNESS. Husbands and BOYFRIENDS, please do not buy your significant other something from Pandora. They suck. Go to Tiffany's or another reputable jeweler.
