Thanksgiving 2010

This year, my family... I'm talking aunts, uncles, cousins, everyone... we are all heading up to Tahoe for our annual Thanksgiving vacation. This is a long run tradition and its great because everyone gets to spend quality time together, we laugh, we bicker, we cook, we watch movies and most of all, we create memories for a lifetime.

Once the Parry family gets healthier we have to go shopping to make sure we are ready for the cold! Jace comes down to our house sometime this weekend and he'll be joining us too! So excited for that.

For 2010, we have a 7 bedroom 7 bath cabin in North Tahoe called "Sunrise by Sunnyside". Our family is growing rapidly. It was just a few years ago when we only had to get a 5 bedroom cabin and Neil and I were sleeping in the bunk bed room with the kids. Now, we get our own king size bed and bathroom to ourselves!! lol.. the perks of growing up!

The cabin is lakeside and has its own dock. However the weather this year looks like it'll be nice and snowy so we'll be using the hot tub more than the lake :) The weather in Tahoe is going to dump snow up until Tuesday then its clear Wed - Sunday. PERFECT!! Hopefully we'll have snow, slush and sun!

Here's my to do list for our Tahoe Vaca:
-Build a snowman
-Make a sled run
-Cook and Eat and Drink (not just hot coco dear)
-Play games
-Watch movies
-Spend quality time with each family member
-Sleep a lot
-Hike
-Hot tub
-Gamble
