Happy 1st Birthday Kianoosh



On July 9, 2011 we celebrated the 1 year birthday party of our beautiful Mooshie Kian. Our boy blessed us on July 6, 2010 at 9:56am and our lives changed for the better ever since. He has been the most wonderful addition to our family and he has the most kind and gentle (and loving) soul! He is truly a joy to be around and his brother LJ and him have grown so close! We love his contagious smile, his spirit for life and most of all his kisses!

We celebrated Kian's 1st birthday at Pappajoons House in los gatos. My dad's house overlooks the gorgeous Vesona lake and the weather for the party was JUST RIGHT. No I'm serious you could not ask for better conditions!

Pappajoon took the boys to the train on Saturday morning while Neil and I setup for the party. I had the tables, bounce house and chairs delivered early in the morning and the food was going to be ready for pickup around 2pm. The day was planned meticulously so everything was moving along as planned. We picked up the cake early that morning and all the drinks were chilled and ready to be served. we had invited our closest family/friends to help us welcome Kian into his 1st year of life.

Everyone started to arrive shortly after 3pm and the party was in full swing by 4. I hired Rebecca (leave me a comment if you want her contact info) to come to the party to keep the kiddo's entertained with face paint, a magic show followed by balloons. She is AMAZINGLY talented and the kids loved her.

I am now enjoying life with a 1 year old and enjoying the exciting year of milestones. Age 1-2 is by far one of my most favorite and I cannot wait to watch my mooshie grow into a toddler. However, he'll always be my baby! Enjoy the pictures and yes, this is my first post in 4 months.

Having 2 boys keeps me busy. Remember the days when I blogged multiple times in a day! LOL... I miss those days but wouldn't trade NOW for anything.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!!
