sunday evening rant

I am in need of a whole lotta shopping and while some of it can be done ONLINE, some of it (i.e. Clothes shopping) I prefer to do in person. With work, NEIL never ever being here and my boys, I have no time at all. You think I'm kidding? No. ZERO time. I have a list that's growing and can't address any of it. Boy do I wish I was granted a 2 hour trip to the mall followed by a mani/pedi. That sounds grand right now :) On another note, I am having a glorious labor day weekend with my boys. My mom and aunt came to visit from the bay area and we spend Saturday and most of Sunday together doing all kinds of fun stuff around town. I really enjoyed having them here and I especially love my QUALITY time with the boys. I swear, every day is more and more hilarious and fun with my munchkins. I miss those infant years but hanging out, joking with them and getting lots of bear hugs and kisses is MY FAVE! I am sad that Neil is missing a lot of stuff due to football. He seriously sees us for an 1-2 hours a week. We used to hang out 24-7 so this is a big change for our entire family. He's working hard and wants to reach his goal and take care of his family but the road there is going to be tough. I miss my hubbie more than ever tonight. AND PEOPLE, we only had game 1 of the season. The season has barely begun! LOL!!! Anyways, I am excited because we are going to go see daddy tomorrow at practice since its early enough in the day where it won't be scorching hot and we can at least give him some love and support in the little time we get to see him. For now, goodbye peeps.

Talk about lucky sons of bitches, if you didn't get a chance to see the Spartan's nearly dominate the Hawaii Rainbow pansies, then you missed one heck of a game. ( picture slideshow courtesy of the SJ Mercury News ) The game began at 5pm and the weather was crap... rain was pouring and the fans were a few... that was until the sun came out and the fans began arriving, reaching to 20,000+ packing the Spartan stadium. ESPN packed the house in the press-box, scouts were hovering around the media stations, trying to find a good seat and stadium workers ran around the stands wiping down seats so people's rears could remain dry. The Hawaii Rainbow Pansies were the talk of football and everyone was expecting SJSU to lose and to lose big. The spread for the game had Hawaii favored by 20+ points. thug night...pack up your eggs baby!

I updated this story.. so if you read it. Reread it. I missed some very important points. ******************************************************************************** What seemed like a normal Tuesday night .. turned out to be quite interesting. First off, I got home lastnight from work before Neil. I was working from home when Neil got home and said let's take the dogs for a walk and grab coffe and go to the grocery store.. Good Ole Zanatto's. We got the dogs dressed and heade d out. After grabbing coffee and groceries, we start heading back home. The walk home is about 3 blocks but we pass many bars and many thugs on our route home. lastnights thug count was out of control. We were walking towards blockbuster/farenheight on San Fernando when we walk past a group of teenagers... about 10 of them. They seemed nice... One of the boys calls Rocco over. Football Widow 2010

Its Football Friday at the Parry House again. For those that don't know, my hubbie is the defensive coordinator for the Sobrato High School Football Team. They are so far 2-1 (Ugh that loss still hurts) and they are ready to play again tonight against Independence High school in San Jose. Here's their entire upcoming schedule The game should be good and if the boys come out to play, they should get the BIG W! Let's go BullDogs! A common terminology used by woman married to men that coach football is that during football season you are a football widow. It is NO JOKE. I thought that football was time consuming when Neil played back at SJSU but NOW, its CRAZY!! Coaching is a very time consuming job, especially if you are super into it like my husband is. Practice M-F afternoon/evening, games friday nights and football planning half the day on a SUNDAY!! With 2 boys at home with me, its super hard because Neil is so tied up with football!! I love love love football season ...
