July 4rth with the Fam

Image
My aunt Gina and uncle Arash have a beautiful house overlooking the southbay so every year they host one of the best parties ever. This year was by far the best. Since 4rth of July fell on a Wednesday everyone was ready to party and boy what a party it was! Thanks to To-killya .. i mean Tequila, the party went from chillax to a dancing fiasco. We also enjoyed flavored hooka hits, delicious kabobs and a wide array of booz. Here's my beautiful mommy getting down to some music... RJ was having so much fun that he took some time from eating to blow the photographer a kiss. Naazi and Naghmeh were classic. They probably drank the most and of the 300+ pictures I have, they are in over 200 of them :) The food took a while to prepare and Cyrus was really hungry. So hungry that he kept stuffing lavash bread into his mouth. I hate to do this to you but here's a snapshot of the kabobs we devoured. They were sooo good. night owl..oooo...ooooo

it's pretty late and I'm still up. Its all good. I slept until about 10am this morning so I got enough zzz's to last me a few more hours :) New Look First and foremost, welcome to the newest rougetimes weblog. Its new, its more personalized and it includes some of the MOST important people in my life, because without them I wouldn't be the person that I am today. I have decided to take one or two people in my life a month and write a little something about them, telling the world how much they mean to me and why. I think it'll be fun. Now, if only I remember to put some time and effort into it. Work-Life Balance This week was definitely insane. Neil has been working A LOT. He has been busy with all of the San Jose Grand Prix race stuff. I have also been busy with work but I have also been trying to maintain the fort back home. I just finished my class in Marketing and loved it. I have only 6 more courses left and I am freaking THRILLED! I literally cannot control my...

Call me nature girl

I have spent the last 2 weekends in the WILD and it has been great. I have some pictures from my Big Basin Camping Trip with Jeni and Carlos and all of our dogs (Rocco, Peezy, Pachuco and Cutie pie Bellatrix). Friday Morning 11:00am Rouge meets Jeni and Carlos at Safeway and get yummi groceries for our weekend in the woods Friday Afternoon Jeni and Carlos headed up to Big Basin earlier to get the spot reserved. They set up camp and waited and waited and since there was no sign of Macaroni (the nickname Jeni has for Neil and I), they left us a note at the camp base. Friday Night Neil and I got a very late start and finally arrived at Big Basin at 7pm. It was dusk but there was still enough daylight for us to assemble our camp. This was also Rocco and Peezy's first official camping trip and I think the fun began for them as soon as they got out of the car. Unfortunately Bellatrix had surgery on her ears so she had fresh stiches running through her ears so she wasn't allowed to pl...

Driving to Dardanelle Cabins

So here we are, on the road, dogs in the back seat of the Cadillac Escalade, Neil at the wheel and I the co-pilot in charge on the internet news release... that's right. I am on the internet reading everyone in the car all the news from sites like TMZ.com, Perezhilton.com and even ESPN! This ride is spectacular... except for the fact that we were stuck in slow creeping traffic on 205 East in awesome Tracy, California. The sun in slowly setting and we're in between Manteca and Escalon. Two stinky towns that we have no choice but to speed thru. We're near an ole buddies town Luke LeHarren, who grew up in Ripon, Ca. I am sooo excited to get the weekend started. Neil had to work late and i had some major car trouble lastnight. What? Well I got a flat tire on my way home from the hair salon. It sucked. This is my 5th flat tire in the past 3 years. Beemers are wierd like that. Every tow truck driver.. and believe me I've met plenty, all say that they are always picking up BMW...
