Xmas 2006

Image
What can I say, another amazing Xmas came and went and I enjoyed every minute of it. Neil and I both have fairly large families so we tried our best to pay a visit to as many of them as possible. We have fun visiting and enjoy traveling, especially with the boys. This year we celebrated with Neil's dad a week early, then celebrated with Neils mom and My family this past weekend. Jouvan has been in town for over a week and it has been awesome hanging out, especially since she has Shya with her. Well here are some picures from the holidays so far. I hope you all had a wonderful christmas and have plans for an amazing New Years. As always, there are wayy more pictures than the ones below. For a FULL slideshow, click here . Our First Real Ornament together with our names Ary & Cyrus by the tree My mom taking Shya... This is classic because she usually washes her hands with dogs and now its in her car!! She's becoming a HUGE fan of Rocco, Peezy and Shya! Xmas in the Park 2006 (...

and the response...

After yesterdays post to the Paseo Plaza Resident email group, I received an email from the guy whom may have been the jackass who left a note on my DOOR. Here is the email i got from him: Subject: Do you know how annoying your dogs are? My Comments: I could kill him for that alone! Body: I am just curious if you have any idea how unbelievably loud and obnoxious your dogs sound when you leave them out on the courtyard all day to bark. Either get some obediance training, or an anti barking solution, or you really have no business leaving your dogs out on your patio. My relatives can't even sleep or relax anytime you have your dogs on the patio while you are away My Comments: Does this guy know who he's messing with!! To be continued... Oh yeah, trust me...

Don't tell me i don't love my pooches....

A letter to the residents of my condominium complex, I can't wait to hear responses from the residents. I'll post those too! On Friday of last week, I came home to find a letter on my front door from a neighbor who either forgot to leave their NAME/UNIT NUMBER on the letter or chose to be anonymous. Let me back up for a moment. On Friday evening, I had left my dogs outside on the balcony for a couple of hours because I had to go somewhere. I usually never leave my dogs outside in the cold however one of them had terrible diarrhea so I left them out. I have a heating pad in their dog house so their vet advised me that should be sufficient. However, I came home to find a note on my door from a rude and inconsiderate neighbor who was THREATENING to turn me in because my dogs were crying in the cold. I have had so many terrible experiences with the residents of Paseo Plaza but nothing hurt me more that this. HOW DOES SOMEONE have the nerve to tell me if I'm a good dog owner or ...

SJSU woo woo!!!

As a big time Spartan fan, I wanted to dedicate this post to all those hard working dudes on the team getting ready for Saturday's big BOWL game against New Mexico. I was suppose to be going to the game however due to outrageous airline fares, I opted to stay home and support them from here. Neil is there and so pumped up. He calls me everyday with the coolest/funniest stories and I look forward to hearing about the team. I gave a shout out to Coach Tomey and Neil relayed the message to him. He said hi back. Yea for me! Tonight make sure to catch Neil and Mike on 1590am KLIV where they will be hosting a live show from a bar in Albuquerque. There will be lots of Spartan fans and the entire team there to represent. The radio program is following the teams pep rally thats suppose to be pretty tight. What I didn't know about Bowl game contenders was that they get an early Christmas. So far, each player has received 2 huge Nike bags filled with the coolest stuff including sick Nike...

P is for Perfect, i mean, persimmon.

Image
I love persimmons. I seriously think they are a gift from god to make up for the boring times of the Fall Season. All hail the persimmon gods!! Nuff about fruit. There are two interesting things worth mentioning: Neil got a new job and Peezy our babi had major diarrhea & vomiting during the past 2 days. Cool huh? Ok. I can't believe it's already Dec 20th. Only 5 more days till Christmas and I don't think Neil has gone to the mall without me! Don't get me wrong, we've spent countless hours xmas shopping but not alone. Well I went alone but my spies tell me he has yet go near Stanford, Santana Row or Valleyfair. hmm.... i hope he doesn't think I want a bowl game sweater from new mexico!! As for life, things have been great. I am really looking forward to some serious vacation time and definitely feel that I am ready for a day at Burke Williams. Oh, and I finally got my Xmas cards that I had made. I sent out everyone's cards today so I hope you get them soo...

I love JT

As you all know I'm a huge fan of Justin Timberlake. For that reason, Saturday night's SNL was awesome because JT was the host and musical guest. The skits were all AWESOME. I'm not kidding. Please watch the skit below if you love Color Me Badd: SNL is actually getting good again. Their music video's are getting funnier as the show goes on. I swear, the song "Dick in a Box" will be stuck in your head ALL DAY. It's sooo catchy! Happy Monday!

All I want for xmas.. is another NBA fight!

the ups & downs of Ro and Neil

First I wanna strangle him... Then I realize that I can't live without him! Enjoy!

Gingerbread House : By Rouge

Image
My rendition of a Ginger Bread House. Today at work, we spent a couple of hours building Ginger Bread houses as sort of a team building exercise. I had a lot of fun but it got a lil messy at some points. In case you can't make out the text on the roof, one side says "Yum!" and the other side says, "mmmm" Look at the amazing workmanship! I should go pro!

Hangin with the Servantes Bunch...

Image
This weekend was extra special? Why? Well Neil and I got to spend it with the Soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Servantes (and Pachuco of course)! Friday night was ready night. Jenni and I had plans to get an airbrush tan in Los Gatos while Neil and Carlos continued their DevilBox 360 Journey of Gears of War. I didn't get a chance to get airbrushed but it turned out really nice on Jenni. It didn't take quite as long as I expected and it didn't smell as bad as Mystic/Magic tan. I think we're going back again soon so I'm excited to get it done. There are only a few places nearby that do AirBrush tanning and its reasonable in price so I'd recommend it if you hate the magin tan stench. We got home and dragged the guys out to get us PF Changs takeout since we were both in sweats and all sticky from tanning. We ate dinner together and watched Beerfest. Great great movie. The dogs all played and we called it a night shortly thereafter. Saturday was miserable out. It was rainy,...

I need coffee

Image
As I was driving to work this morning, I contemplated whether or not I should stop at Starbucks. I go there almost daily for a "Triple Grande Non-Fat sugar free Vanilla Latte" but today I thought, maybe I should take a break from Caffeine. Maybe its my mom's voice always telling me to chill on the caffeine. I have cut back. I mean, I know people who are way worse than me. Looking back, I don't it was a good idea to skip the coffee. My eyes are still groggy and I'm all congested in my head. I tried to drink a regular cup of coffee but thats like giving a twinkie to an elephant. It won't satisfy their hunger! We also have an espresso machine at work but to be honest, it looks cool and all but I don't trust how people clean it. I don't want to be double dipping my milk in the milk other people have steamed. Maybe I'm just weird but I'd rather have mine made by a pro. It's almost noon, I'm like 20 minutes from a latte. Nice! Anyways, I'...

Weekend Thizzle

Image
This was by far one of the most fun weekends... Neil comes home on Friday with a new Xbox360. We had dinner plans with our friends Geno and Jana so instead of getting ready, he starts setting up his new system (with my help ofcourse!) I have a new nickname for the Xbox 360... The DEVIL 360. It sucks up all of your boyfriends Time! After several attempts at prying him away from his game console, we head to M-town to see the newlyweds new home and have some delicious yumyum. First of all, I love Geno and Jana's new place! We even have the same Kelly Moore paint color in our house, lemongrass. Jana had also decorated the place with all the Xmas fixings so that was cute too. Thanks for having us over guys! The dinner was a preparty for the SJSU game that was coming on Saturday so we left that night but we knew we were gonna see G&J again the next day. Fresno vs SJSU WHAT A GAME! I have been attending SJSU football games for god knows how long and this was by far one of the most thr...
