A little bit about life with two boys

When I arrived home from my 5 days of rest and recovery at the hospital, I was feeling great. I came home to a delicious persian cooked dish courtesy of my mom, my sister was playing with Leonidus and Neil was running errands for the new baby and assembling baby stuff. Things seeemed easy. Two days later, my sister left to go back home to LA LA land. My mom returned to work and Neil, my husband and father of a newborn, had to go to 3 FULL DAYS of football camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There I was... 2 boys, both under 2 years old and a mom who had no clue what she was about to experience. Those were by far the hardest few days of my life. Leonidus is a little dude so he's just learning to communicate. He meant well every time he went over to his brother to kiss him ... or when he climbed on top of him wanting to hug hum ... but that meant I had to hold the baby, while trying to entertain Leonidus ALL of this while I'm still recovering from my c-section. I'm back... I promise this time

I was once an avid blogger who started blogging before eblogger was even around. I started blogging when I had to build my blog from scratch using java and html to get the page up and running. Now, its all GUI based and the look and feel of your page can change in seconds. i HEART technology Anyways, after having my son Leonidus my blogging, which happened at least 4 days a week went down to 1-2 times a month. Now, after having my 2nd son Kianoosh, my blogging has become NON EXISTENT. For good reason, it takes about 8-12 weeks to get used to having two boys under the age of two. It is a VERY VERY HARD transition and you almost have to learn to live a different lifestyle. Not bad. Just super different. Now that the boys are totally in sync and mommy and daddy are totally in control (or at least we think we are) I can now return to blogging. I don't think I'll go back to my old blogging days but i sure hope to visit once a week. I have to much to say and have been doing this ...

Kianoosh was born via a planned C-section at Good Samaritan Hospital on July 6,2010. The Birth Story This was a totally different birth experience than when I had Leonidus. Since my first son Leonidus was born via c-section, Neil and I opted to have another c-section to avoid any further complications. We decided this about the 20th week of my pregnancy. I was given an option to choose what day I wanted to have my scheduled c-section. I went back and forth, pondering which day would be best. My mom and aunt, firm believers in the stars, told me to have my baby on the 4th of July however what doctor and hospital staff would want to do a c-section on a holiday. Since that day was out, the stars looked best on July 6 and Wa- La, we had the baby on that day and a minute before the desired time of 10am. With a planned c-section, ever...
