Gray Hairs Are Doubling by the minute

Thank god for three day weekends. After having a 70 hour work week, I was VERY VERY VERY excited to have 3 days to relax, especially since I had no time to do anything non-work related. I even missed SCHOOL! I had to work Friday until late. I worked my booty off so I could finish most of my work so that I could have a full weekend to do nothing but clean, play and play. Saturday was great. Neil and I had a tee time at WENTE vinyards. I did end up working in the morning but the thought of knowing I was golfing made it all seem worth it. Wente is a golf course located in livermore. Its super nice and a great place to unwind. The weather was amazing and me being the miss whitey (since i get NO SUN) that I am got sunburned. Me? Sunburned? I think Neils Irishness is contageous. Later that night, we got home, got some takeout and had a nice evening with the fam (that means Rocco and Peezy you know that right?). Neil had rented Notes on a Scandal (with Cate Blanchett). I thought it was going...

Where have I been?

It has been so long since I posted something juicy. Well things in my life have been twirled upside down (but in a good way) ever since I started my new job at Real networks. Working on the rhapsody music team has been an amazing adventure so far and I feel that after a long time I am finally being challenged and if you are a LEO like me, then you know that LEO's love a challenge. The past few weeks have been insane with some huge projects at work. In addition to that, mothers day was last weekend and then I had my friend Jeni's bachelorette party on Saturday and then my other friend Alana's baby shower on Sunday. In other words, its been wacko insane lately but I'm not complaining because I'm having fun with it all. On Friday night, Neil and I took a little time to ourselves and went on a date to see GYPSY KINGS in San Francisco at the Nob Hill Masonic Theater. It was the most amazing concert ever and I think that I am falling in love with flamenco music. I actuall...

Long Days are here again

Its Tuesday. So that means wake up early, go to work, leave work early, go to class and get home by 10. Oye Vey. I gotta go. The train is WAY to shaky today and I have to be on a conference call. Bye for now. Ro

Seattle and back-- GOLDEN STATE OF SHOCK!

Image
Yay! I'm back. Neil and I recently went to Seattle for a week long business trip. I was going to the REAL headquarters to do some training on the Cadence Methodology for Project management. The course was really really interesting and I am looking forward to applying a lot of the key tools back to my job in SF. This was my first time in Seattle. It was pretty cool. Our hotel, the Edgewater, was located right on the water and my company was right across the street. The weather was exactly what you would expect it to be. Rainy. Cloudy. Gloomy. I think I saw the sun come out once. Besides the gloomy depressing factor, Seattle is gorgeous. Everything is so green and lush. It was really amazing. But I don't think I could deal with the weather. It was pretty dreary. Neil was also able to squeeze in some golf with his bro Josh who's on the seattle seahawks. The guys on the team get free access to a private country club so Neil go to play somewhere fairly nice. Josh also took us ...
